Hi! Thank you for asking about this 🥰 There was a lot of info to get through in this one :) Essentially, it makes your filing more accurate and helps to protect your nails from fraying as you file them. I touched on this a little more around the 3:11 mark 🥰 changing nail shapes with old polish on has been really helpful for me! 💕

Hi, so do you keep the oil on your nails when you put on the base coat? I was told we need to dehydrate nails before painting.

Hi! 🥰 Thank you for asking! This would largely depend on our individual "nail type" :) Some people have super oily nails that can't hold regular polish without chipping. A dehydrator of some kind may work better for them, although I'm typically against 😩 For me, I can apply oil, let it fully absorb to the touch, then apply basecoat without any issues. This is because my nail plates are dry and typically do not produce oils on their own :) I hope this helps! ❤️

I buy your nail conditioning oil and splitting repair. My nails do grow better along with taking biotin they grow incredibly fast. But I still have trouble with them being kind of weak. Any suggestions?

I'm happy to hear that you've been seeing excellent growth results so far 😍 If you aren't already, I'd recommend using an authentic glass file to routinely maintain and gain strength, as it safely eliminates excess nail "thinness". Also, the natural nails feel more condensed with this file in particular, which helps them grow out stronger 🥰
