Or is it posible to capture day and night lapse with just one configurarion? thanks hope you guys help me here cheers

@friendlygiant86396 жыл бұрын
Time warp if you are moving ( When you drive in a car, or run or whatever ) Timelapse photo I dont really know..😅 maybe for the highway or German Autobahn, the nightlapse video for the night ( it need to stand still otherwise it will look like shit, nightlapse/nightfoto so you can see the stars at the horizon, the normale timelapse just for the day ( in the evening you wont see anything ) Hope I didn't told you wrong

in post production at what speed is the timelapse playing? i.e. for how long does a photo play or how many Frames per second are showing? did you record it in 2 or 5 seconds eventually? Found yours to be much smoother than what I usually get from timelapses, how please?

you will get good result for sunrise and sunset with 5 secs interval, the speed and duration really depend on your personal taste, I would recommend you to export the file in 60 frames after editing

Especially when I'm am trying to do timelapse. Are there any tips how to increase the battery life without the battery BacPac? Many thanks ahead! :) PS: Great location and video! I have a very important question: can you not get sensor damage from exposing your gopro directly to the sun? Or are sunsets and sunrises definitely safe?
@TheTimelapseGuy7 жыл бұрын
+The White Leopard I never noticed any damage my GoPro took from being exposed to direct sunlight. I think filming the sun in a very low position like sunrise or sunset is not dangerous for the sensor because the light has to travel through a maximum of atmosphere in that position.

How much capacity do you need on your sd card to shoot a time lapse like this? For how long did you let the gopro shoot? Very nice
@vinade21005 жыл бұрын
so you shoot for an ~hour=60min=3600sec, timelapse set on 2 sec interval/delay means, 3600/2=1800 pictures, on my gopro 3+ black one pic is about ~5MB(depents on light, colors, etc..), so 5*1800=9000MB=9GB storage. When you put it together as a Video, and use 15-16 FPS, it will make a ~120 sec clip(1800/15=120). works vise versa: to make 30 sec clip with 5 sec interval 30*15(FPS)=450 means 450 pictures, 450*5=2250 sec=37.5 min. btw new cameras calculate all of that for you and even the file size. If you happened to shoot/set manually and you want a 1080 clip, you can use 1920x1080 as resolution, safes space and computing time. you prbly figured it out already but maybe it helps someone else.
