I also remember a math teacher taught us that if you multiply anything by a number ending in zero you can put the number with the zero at the bottom and offset it and just multiply diagonally and you still get the right answer. So you'd have something like 35 ×40 You multiply carry your 2 and still get 1400. Just a quick way to multiply any number by a number ending in 0
