Hello Anastasia. I just wanted to say this was a lovely video. It just popped up on my KZbin feed. I'm older, I'm American, retired and in the autumn of the years. I'm sure Russian women aren't interested in a May/September relationship. However, I'm interested in the country, its provinces, rich history, beauty, traditions, culture and certainly its people. I've been to St. Petersburg as a tourist (on a Baltic cruise) before the current political craziness between our countries. I'm saddened that it appears to be close to impossible to physically return to Russia as a tourist. But it's nice to at least, vicariously, visit via the internet. Best to you and yours.

It’s fine to still travel to Russia, I’m visiting again later this year. Trust me you’re not too old and in fact a US friend (I’m Australian) who’s your age is in Russia as we speak with a woman he met through the real FSU dating circle (you’ll need an introduction to this hidden dating subculture), but you need to be realistic with age gaps, this is real dating not scammy, desperate young mail order bride hunting. He’s 65 and has been dating women from late 40’s to 50’s who are generally educated, English speaking and financially secure. I’m happy to help you out if this interests you. Two of my other US friends got engaged and married last year to wonderful age appropriate Russian women and are very happy. In total 8 of my friends are now either dating or married to Russian women from the real dating circle. They 'love me' till they get a Green Card and hook up with others they know who are here. I believe they're grifters. I'm interested in something that's 'real'. I'm a 'baby-boomer' born in 1947. I was married for 33 years when my wife died from pancreatic cancer 15 years ago. I'm a widower. My father was drafted and fought in WWII in the Navy in the Pacific against the Japanese. He was in the invasion of Okinawa. He was discharged in May of '46 and married my mom in July of '47. I was born in November of '47. My dad was studying accounting in college after the war. I was drafted and fought in the Vietnam War. I chose the Air Force instead of the Army. I was overseas for 3 years. I was in tech school for 1 year studying Morse Code and Soviet Air Defense systems. I was in communications intelligence. We tracked Soviet MIG 17 fighters and TU95 bombers. I was sent to Brindisi, Italy to monitor the Soviet Southwest Bomber Command headquartered in Odessa with bases in The Crimea. They're tasked with the Air Defense of the Western Coast of Russia bordering Europe. After that, I was sent to Misawa Japan, right across a narrow straight from Vladivostok Russia to monitor the Soviet Air Force there. They tasked with the air defense of the Pacific coast of Russia. Historically, Russia has been invaded over the centuries by both Europeans as well as the Japanese. They have a right to be concerned with their Eastern and Western Borders as well as Naval ports in which to host a Navy. The US is insulated by two oceans, the Atlantic and the Pacific.We've never been invaded. Russia has and millions of Russian soldiers have died defending the fatherland. The US has never lived through that. More people died from COVID than they lost in WWII! The Soviets monitored all our flights too so we both knew what the other military was doing at all times the Soviet military was very professional. Their job was to protect Russia. Our job was to protect America. It was that simple. Everything that happened during those 3 years overseas was strictly "routine". Because I was in 'intelligence' over 50 years ago, I still have apprehension about setting foot in Russia, even though I've been to St. Petersburg once as a tourist. Anything I know (or knew) is old obsolete information.Spying is done by satellite now. We did it with antenna (like they did it in WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. I found the Russian people (when I was in St. Petersburg sight seeing) very nice, they were curious about Americans (and we were curious likewise about Russians). Because of past politics, never of us thought we'd ever meet each other during our lifetimes. Our tour guide lady was a college professor who was a tour guide during the summer months to earn extra income. I think she made more in 'tips' than she got paid by the university in a year! After service to my country, I attended the University of Wisconsin and received 2 majors: International Relations (where I specialized in international business) and Economics where I specialized in International Economics. I ended up in industrial automation sales of low pressure fluid power and fluid handling systems. I designed the automation system (if needed) and recommended which components best served the purpose for the mechanical engineering application. About 2/3's of our customers were medical equipment manufacturers. The other 1/3rd was industrial automation. I worked my way up to District Manager, then Regional Sales Manager then finally Manager of New Market Development. My management level was just below the senior "Upper Management". Those jobs were like a revolving door. VP's would 'come and go'. The managers right underneath them who knew the business as well as all the customers usually kept their jobs for years and years, Overall I worked for 3 companies over the course of 40 years in Corporate America. 2 American and 1 German. I didn't care for the German company. They were dictatorial, engineering driven and looked at every market like they all did business like the Europeans. Americans, if fact, are different; both culturally as well as from the way they engineer things. German products were also expensive. Everything to them had to be a Mercedes (if you understand the metaphor), One has to know when "good enough" happens. Their mantra was always, "You have to convince the stupid American engineers that German engineering is superior". The American mantra is, "Give me something that will accomplish the task as specified at a marketable price so we can sell it". Two different mindsets. The German management was also very authoritarian compared to American management which was more 'discussion' and 'building a consensus' versus issuing a mandate. I was very good at selecting products that did the job and met the allocated budget. I retired 11 years ago right after my 65th birthday. I don't miss it at all. I suffered enough fools over the course of a lifetime. I just want to know 'real people', experience culture, beauty, architecture, music, art, movies, theater, concerts, the finer things in life. I own my own home in Wisconsin (that's the Upper Midwest). I enjoy gardening, mowing the grass, trimming the bushes and trees and making sure the landscaping is "pretty". After a lifetime of travel, it's nice to be home and wake up in my own bed. At age 76, I'm not interested in sex. I'm interested in a soulmate, a kindred spirit, an equal partner, a confidant, someone who is non-judgmental, thoughtful, rational, even-tempered, appreciative, speaks English, is educated and a good conversationalist. Warmth and affection are appreciated but wanton, experimental, debauched, animal sex is something for horny college students, not senior citizens (been there, done that), That's my condensed biography. The city was beautiful, it looked like it did in the 18th century, it hadn't been ruined by 'progress', the estate of Peter the Great was... well... "great". I also saw the summer residence of Catherine the Great. It had been perfectly preserved from the way it looked during the 1700's when she lived there. The churches, the museum, everything was wonderful. Stupid politicians send 10's of thousands of young men to be used as "cannon fodder" to fight useless and endless foreign wars. My countrymen here in America have no animosity towards Russia for its people. (Nor China for that matter) However, the political elite who live inside the "Planet Washington DC Bubble" think Putin is Satan and Russians are somehow sub-human. I'm sure Biden authorized the Nord Stream I and II pipelines to be blown up. To me, that's no different than the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor in 1941. God bless Russia, its beautiful countryside and its warm-hearted people. If we can get rid of Biden and reelect Donald Trump in November of 2024, he'll make peace once again with Putin and millions of people will be better off. I don't know if looking for women in Russia is any easier that doing it in your own country.. you will start with two disadvantages - 1) she grew up in a culture very different from your own; 2) she may pretend to be interested in you, just for the opportunity to move to your country. In my own case, I married a Russian woman, but I'm an immigrant myself from Eastern Europe, and we know each other going back to our childhood; we grew up in the same city (she moved to my city from Russia when she was 4 years old). I also speak almost fluent Russian. This is entirely opposite from looking online for a girl in a foreign country.

Way to find a Russian girlfriend: Learn Russian, move to Russia, get a job in Russia, talk to the vvomen you meet during the day, and maybe after 20 to 30 years you 'might' find a lady who finds you attractive enough to become her boyfriend. 1) you don't have to look for a girl. I'm not looking for anyone yet either 2) Russian girls are also looking for guys. but less active. because usually they are already inundated with male attention. 3) we speak English well because we are taught English from the age of 7-8 throughout our studies at school and university. if by the 11th grade you are not able to write an essay in English and read the text without mistakes, then fuck you, not a certificate. 4) I think foreign women are beautiful too. it's just that in Russia women spend an insane amount of money on cosmetics, clothes and various services. every friend of mine builds up her nails monthly and buys a box of cosmetics. 5) Russians consider it prestigious to date a guy from Europe, England or the USA. (in my personal opinion, I would prefer a foreigner to a Russian guy, because foreigners are prettier and more tolerant) 6) I have not yet seen a single person in Russia who does not use social networks... where did you come from... in this case, they are looking for relationships at work, at school, in interest groups.

Russian/slavic women are a lot more temperamental and emotionally volatile. Latinas even more so. Probably because traditional gender roles are far more enforced in those regions and "women be emotional" is one of those traditional gender roles.

I live in the North West so not only is our dialect the most chill (high German/standard German.. we don't even roll our "r") but we in general just don't have the energy to be emotional. We don't get enough sun, hah. I was born in Russia but spent most of my life in Northern Germany. I have lived in and visited other regions of Germany and was shocked when people (strangers) would straight up approach me on the street to .. just talk? Have gotten invited to parties, festivals and dates that way. Not a thing here in the North West. We don't talk to anyone we don't know unless we have to and keep to ourselves usually. My Ukrainian mum is the exact opposite. Very emotional, loves to argue/debate over nonsense, cries easily and is extremely empathetic. To a fault really. I just want to know how to friend Russians and get to know them as an audience and hopefully find some that are like minded in _things_ (nevermind finding a girlfriend for now 😂) I don't bother on KZbin but elsewhere it's been semi difficult, even more now than ever 😔 I really want to learn the language as I'm trying to find something that gets me to know them as much as me and not be intrusive (there is Russians in my community)
