Celeste sits in the coffee shop between 5pm and 7pm when she visits for the night. She will (maybe not?) appear in daily stretches. It also resets her position on the island. She visits once a week. She doesn't appear at every meteor shower. But if she visits, that means there is a meteor shower. But some shower bursts are so light that that they only happen once every hour.

Resetting her location is similar to resetting villager locations (if they're in the museum). You just enter every house with a villager inside, plus the two stores. After that, the missing villager will be visiting another villager or in one of the stores. If there was someone else in the store the first time, there's a good chance they are back in their house with the missing villager.

On my island, Celeste almost always spawns in the highest area of the island. If she's not there, she will be on one of the beaches. Note that Celeste will never visit the island if K.K. is there.

I never find showers... and since the final update, Celeste never gives me recipes anymore. I know I don't have all of them. She just gives me a large star fragrant and that is is. I wish Nintendo would do everything this game promised. CELESTE is wonderful.

I'm so lucky! i go to Kap'ns island almost every day. so far I have had 3 islands with star fragments and star rocks. It showers there also, so any I wish on go to my island! Love astronomy.

That's not how to find her "Instantly" that's how to find out if she is on the island IMO any one who clicked on this already knows what Celest does and they just want to know how to find her. It should also be noted if you start your game for the 1st time after Celest shows up Isabell will say she is on the island Also Celest can show up at the same time as other NPCs or events so Isabell may say the other announcement instead Celest can reward you on other peoples island and will not reward you a 2nd time if you see her in a new location she does not seem to spawn with Wisp , who I also want to know Wisp's spawn rates and conditions Celest can be contained by placing holes or items or a fence around her The unanswered question I have, are there certain terrains or a certain number of spaces required for her to show up? I have seen her spawn in areas with no steps , bridges or inclines but I am wondering does she spawn on ground that has a custom pattern? does she spawn if more the 90% of your island is covered in objects? does she spawn on flowers? does she preference to stand near telescopes? Does she spawn at high elevations more then low elevations? does she spawn on cloudy days? and rainy days? does she spawn if there is no moon out? does she spawn on top of dropped items? does she spawn if your whole island is full of holes? does she spawn if your island is full of buried items? is she attracted to gyroids? Does she spawn near spiders and scorpions and other bugs? Does she spawn if the museum is still a tent? Does she spawn if you have not places the museum or if the museum is moving? can she spawn in an unreachable spot? Im looking for ANY factor that can shift her position. Same for Sahara, Wisp, CJ and Flick also you can spot her from the air or from the title screen you can also get her rewards on Kappin Boat tours

Stars, I haven't seen this information anywhere but I think the other visiting NPCs have certain times visiting the roost too, would love to see a video on them, My sample size is small so I don't know the 'time windows' and I'm really not sure about Restti and Don but so far as I can tell so far, just from my experience: Mabel - Random, After 7am (before work) Wilbur - Random, between 11am-1pm Dasiy Mae - Sunday After midday (everyone knows this one) Don - Random, between 2-4pm Resetti - Random, between 2-4pm Celeste : Days she visits, 5pm-7pm, as you said Kicks - Random on days he visits, After 10 pm (after his shop closes and he ‘leaves’) Sable - Random, after 11pm (after work) KK : Saturday after midnight (after he ‘leaves’) Label: Random on days she visits after midnight (after she ‘leaves’) Mabel, Kicks, Sable and Label and KK I'm sure are right, the rest I've only seen a couple of times so not sure but the times are all when I saw them. I imagine Sarah might but can't remember if she stays till 5am (in which case no chance) and Maaaaaaybe leif but ye not sure. All other people on your iland that arnt villagers just come for takeaway cups (Orville, Tom, Tommy, Timmy, Bathers, Isabelle, Kappen)

I knew the radio trick. I always use that in the morning to see which visitor I have if it's not one of the ones that stands on the plaza. If nobody outside my villagers show up I start looking at the beach for a seagull... As I use MeteoNook to know when the showers are I didn't know about Celeste visiting the café. Wish they had something to know if Wisp is in the village

I check cafe every day and even if I dont see Celeste I also do a session of stretching.... there have been occasions when Celeste does NOT appear at either cafe or stretches but I run into her after returning from visiting someones island. So Im not sure how full proof this method is? Its frustrating that Nintendo cant just have had her appear in an 'observatory' like in previous games. so that there is no doubt as to whether or not she is really there or not.

One interesting thing... I don't know if this has changed, but there was one month where despite me looking around on literally every meteor shower day (I used MeteoNook to figure out when these happened) there was during one zodiac month (there were shockingly few--at least two weeks with no meteor showers at all)... and I _never_ saw her on my island. I suspect that every week where she _could_ show up, her scheduled day was Saturday... which meant she didn't show up thanks to K.K. Slider getting in the way. I ended up having to visit someone else's island on the last possible day just so I could get the zodiac recipe. The next day, she showed up on my island... and gave me the _next_ zodiac recipe. Thanks to bad RNG I almost found myself having to wait another year to get a zodiac recipe.
