For those really long battles like with the Dhelmise, its always good to keep a couple Timer Balls in your bag. The catch rate on these things increases the more turns are taken in battle, so in a case where it takes a long time to find a shiny through this method, a Timer Ball should work where an Ultra Ball doesn't. I was trying to catch a Skarmory the other day (wasn't shiny, just trying to get an uncommon pokémon) and I used maybe 4-5 Ultra Balls, and once I used a Timer Ball, it worked on the first try. They can be really useful, you should try it!

Just a simple yet really helpful piece of advice: Preferably avoid the ability Pressure on the pokemon that helps you shiny hunt. The PP of moves is used up twice as fast increasing the chances of breaking your chain or even, the shiny you encounter eventually struggles and faints, like shown in the video. Therefore try a Pokemon with Antimidate or Unnerve ( e.g Haxorus has Unnerve as a HA and can learn False swipe as ell as Aerial ace for fast and easy shiny hunting ).

treymtz outside the battle tree, go to the right through the grass, go past the 2 punks, go across that second bridge, and it's a lone little island there, well, there's a fishing spot to the left of the bridge, and when the bubbles are actually there, 10% chance to be Dratini (which if you didn't know by now, can SoS call a Dragonite), if the water isn't rippling, 1% chance.

In place of a Smeargle, get a Pancham with its hidden ability Scrappy. It's the only Pokemon with that ability that can also learn False Swipe. I named mine Ghost Buster.

I recommend that if your killing Pokémon has a move with 20-30 PP, use it all up, use Leppa Berries until its full, then switch enemies. To get many Leppa Berries, use Pokepelago

Not Easy Section: People who find shinies after days, weeks, months, and years of searching/hatching. Dhelmise has a 10% encounter rate through normal fishing, and 20% from bubbling spots. 90% of the time you'll run into Magikarp or Wailmer. The thumbnail has a shiny Dhelmise in it, as if it is "Easy" to begin with. Guess which section has filled up most of YT?

i suggest having a pokemon with you that knows a sleep inducing move (yawn, spore, sing) and switch into that pokemon when you get the pokemon you want to catch. Its saved me from having someone struggle and K.O themselves and im not sure if status still makes them easier to catch but it should! Plus its not permanent like burns or paralyze.

When chaining for Shiny Beldum, Decidueye/Alolan Marowak and Gengar/Palossand are the best bets. The former for False Swipe, the latter for Hypnosis, and both for immunity to Take Down.

Get into the competitive scene. Use this method to catch yourself a shiny 4IV ditto and you'll have a great starting point for any pokemon to breed. Don't forget that destiny knot though ;)

Trick! Get an Exeggcute with the ability Harvest, use Skill Swap on your target, use Bestow while holding leppa, get your Decidueye, use Foresight on a Ghost-type, use False Swipe, get your Synchronizer that knows Recover and Recycle and is holding leppa. Now you’re all set!
