I had the privilege to meet and be trained by Nir last weekend at a Use of Force Seminar. The second he walked in the classroom you could sense his powerful, strong, magnetic energy. He is a Power House of a human being. I was in awe upon meeting him. He is an incredible teacher. Very polite, ethical and true professional. I had made the mistake to make a comment about the police force that came out the wrong way, and I made myself sound incredibly stupid out of my misuse of words as It was a language mistake of translation, and I was nervous speaking in front of the class so I did not express myself correctly. The wrong terms came out of my mouth before I could rephrase what I was trying to say. I ended up embarassing myself like no tomorrow, and Nir gently and politely put me back in my place with facts, and I found myself blushing from the shame I felt. I thought of clarifying what I was trying to say later on, and that I meant no disrespect toward the police force, but at that point I was so embarassed I just didn't want to talk anymore because I didn't have the guts to explain my original statement. 🤣. I think Nir was blown away by my dumb comment yet he was so polite and classy about it. This comes to show you the type of great person that he is. He has such brilliant character. We all have such an immense amount of respect for him at the seminar. You can just tell he has a heart of gold even if you've never met him before. He is a very stoic man, yet when he smiles he lights up the room with joy and warmth. His training program is phenomenal. We learned so much from him in two days. A life time of knowledge. Really useful training. The best!. Coincidentially, my mother is Jewish and my father is Caribbean. I didn't make mention of this when we had to introduce ourselves in class, but it was great having a teacher from my community. Nir is a tremendously brave person. If God granted me a tenth of the courage and bravery that Nir has, I would feel blessed for life. It was truly an honour being trained by him. I hope he will read this so he knows how appreciated he is by all of us. God Bless him and his family. May God always keep him safe in his journey and always bring him back to his loving family and our community because we need him so much. We need more people like him in this world. 🙏

I enjoyed that interview very much. I'm not Jewish. I grew up with Unitarian parents although I never belonged or even attended one of their services and they never tried to force or encourage us kids to. I know little of Judaism and with all the conflict going on I'm educating myself as best possible at 68 y.o. I have to say I was tearing up a little myself hearing that horrific story of Miriam. Keep up the good work.
