Thx for covering this.I worked for dexter shoes they were made in dexter Maine. Great boots and shoes that are no more. Sad if we don’t support usa no one will. We don’t get a heck of a lot of foreign aid

Thanks for the comment! We will definitely add Dexter Shoes to our list 😀

I said it wrong I’m sorry. What I was meaning was dexter sold out to a foreign super shoes store chain. It’s a sad story I Think you would definitely enjoy researching. The company when in business was huge from golf shoes bowling work and dress I worked for them for 11 years till they were bought by warren buffet and liquidated. I miss the rof work boot 100 percent American and they would take boots back that were just worn out no defect. You can’t do that with Chinese junk. However I think people abused the refund policy hugely and that put another nail in the coffin. Sorry to ramble but please keep up the good fight. We need thinking Americans like you to educate. Thank you

New Balance 990 series, 1400, and 1300 models are all still manufactured in Boston.
@zacharymutter84322 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right that materials are sourced from around the world but the shoes themselves are stitched and put together by American workers in American factories in Boston. That let's them claim roughly 70% US production but TBH as long as the sneaker is manufactured by US workers on US soil with US quality control and machinery standards, I'm happy to go along with the 100% usa made moniker that's technically untrue. Edit: grammar

I have a Tilly hat made in Canada and it’s by far the most comfortable and well-made hat I’ve ever owned. I like supporting American-made, but to me it’s more about avoiding Chinese and other communist and third-world-made products.

Thank you bc I don’t like buying China or overseas products because of little kids working making shoes selling for 500$ and they only get 1 cent and the shoes barley is a 1$ worth so even if you don’t care about the kid why waste your money on 1$ shoes that cost about 500$!

I have used Danner Boots for several years but not all models are made in the USA. Their web page allows customer to apply filter to only see those that are made in USA. One style that I like has limited availability due to current production for US Dept of Defense. I also checked list on your web site. One correction is the link for Truman Boot says they are made in Colorado but the Truman web page indicates Oregon.

How about SAS Shoes? (San Antonio Shoes.) They're not made in San Antonio any more?
@madeinusa3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Last we checked SAS still makes many of their sneakers here, in San Antonio and another factory in Del Rio, TX. Watch out for their dress shoes - some styles made in the USA, but many in Italy.
