Just got this ship on PC. I switched Steam to offline mode before starting the game, then loaded in, went through the stargate, and flew to the location and the ship was there first try. No bases, no griefing. :)

Sadly just a quick update I don't know if anyone else has commented, but this hauler ship has now been changed into just an S class exotic. It was worth around 12mil in case anyone was curious. On PC it was on a planet literally called "S Class Planet" and it had rings around it, so make sure if you go hunting for even the exotic, go to the planet with rings around it then search up the coords. Just picked up this ship on PC, thank you for the video. I had Multiplayer off before taking the portal, but still was able to see the a player's base on the ringed planet. I went to the base icon, which is on top of a mountain and just did a lap of the lower ground of the mountain. She was sitting there waiting for me.

Awesome vid as usual, thanks for the help. Just a heads up for people, it may just be me because the game likes messing with me. Once I got this ship and went back to the portal to leave, I portalled to the other side and the game spawned the ship directly in front of me, because of its size it pushed me back into the portal. Once back again it did the same. Got caught in an infinate portal loop I couldn't escape until I ended the games task, just to note for people :P

If the base appears here with a large building over the ship, then go to the base computer in front of the building and report the base as offensive, then the whole base disappears...

PSA TO EVERYONE WHO CANT GET THE SHIP BECAUSE OF THE GRIEFER BASE!!! If you exit game and disconnect from the internet before using the portal, the griefers base won't be there. Just got the ship on Aug 31 using this method.

Guys DO NOT listen to him, the big base is a troll, but its NOT covering the ship, the ship is like 400 units away from the base, HOWEVER, DO NOT STEP INSIDE THE BASE, once you go inside all doors will lock and this forces you to reload to your last save, or kill yourself, which sucks ass if its been some time since saving

I was able to get it by digging under the base (9/8/2019 Xbox). I used a distress signal map to pinpoint it, then dig under, claim it, crawl out then call it down right in front of the base.

PS4 i pulled my network cable out before loading my save game, apart from telling me i won't be able to join anyone's game it loaded normally, enter your glyphs, no blocks, no base, nothing in your way, travel to planet as suggested, the ship is waiting for you on arrival. Repair fly away. MARVELLOUS !!

I started playing in earnest after the Synthesis update, I completed the Artemis mission, but was only awarded 4 glyphs, but got them all by revisiting Space Stations through the teleporter finding Travellers and graverobbing! Oh and have 3 S class ships now thanx Jason! I have a lot of repairs and upgrade work ahead of me but so worth it!

Travellers are bugged. Finish artemis side quest until you u see "the purge" mission. Then you will obtain a glyph per system you warp. Greetings

This one is worthless on PC, the ground is glitched out really bad (you randomly fall through the world and die) and once the ship is claimed it is more than 4 hours of wait time. May be more than the 4 hours, that is how long I waited till I got sick of waiting and left. Not to mention, there is a line of players waiting for it and it does not spawn in offline mode. I ended up getting the other S class hauler you have listed with no issue :) Thanks for the great videos, you got a new sub today.

If you manage to find graves that give a glyph put down a save beacon and come back later they reset I'm just not sure on the time. I was stuck at 6 and managed too find 2 on a planet and just came back over and over till I got them all

Some trashed the spawn point for the ship (PC). No more ship spawns. I've seen this a number of them. Someone's a real tool.

To those who see this and get mad, just go to the base computer for the person who built on top of it to be rude, and report the base. It will ask you to take a picture of what is inappropriate. Take a picture of their entire base, and it will delete the base from your view. Save the game and reload, then the ship will be there. Cheers.

On xbox someone has built a base around the site making it look like it's not there but I dug underneath the base to see if I could find a way in and the ship was spawned underneath in a pocket had to dig it out but was still able to acquire it.

@@Dano84 I used the portal during the quest and 'met' Artemis, but even the 3 glyphs you are supposed to unlock before doing that were buggy. Thanks anyway, I think I'll wait for patches before chasing more graves :D

After the part to meet artemis, it continues on for awhile chasing Apollo and -null- but after all that you get to the root and head to the center of the universe. Its during that final stage where I got the last 6 I needed. Without much spoiling, you end up warping 16 times to the center of the universe, each time to obtain the glyphs ideally. Well since I had 10, on warp 11 it started to actually give em to me by default that way to complete my set. I got tired of chasing travellers and figured itd be an easier option than waiting on an update incase they pull the traveller idea to have people work thru the story more. Not sure they will, just my thought process lol

Okay, I just had some fun...maybe this person that built the base here isn't as bad as we think...my theory is that they built a puzzle for someone to discover...I got pissed that they did this and started digging a hole around his base and then thought why not try to dig under his big structure to find the sclass hauler...I dug and dug but found he had metal flooring underneath, deep, but then I saw a missing tile...went inside...cleared a whole floor of soil to find a nice metal floor with again...one missing tile...went inside using that but it was full of soil...dug it out...there is the hauler starship in all it glory...I cleaned it up and was carefull to not swap ships because then I would be stuck, but claimed ownership, fixed the tech just for grins, and left in my other ship back to my freightor where the sclass hauler was awaiting me...it was an adventure...and it awaits you also if you want one...I don't know if you will see my digging making it easier or if you will have to dig again, but missing tile1 is in back by house, underground, and other missing tile2 is roughly in the middle of building...

Hauler wasn't there. Several communications devices around the portal said it wasn't, but checked anyways. This is the second crashed hauler that I went to find from your videos. The other was replaced by an S-Class shuttle. Hopefully you'll take these types of videos down if you get firm confirmation that ships don't exist. Else, these videos are wasting people's time. This may sound unethical, but I’d say another great way to get chromatic metal is to be a pirate and attack freighters.When you blast their storage compartments, you have a chance to get chromatic metal, and a buttload of it at that.

Im getting a ton of freighter bugs at the moment, first one I was able to fly around the hangar willy nilly and couldnt fly back out of my ship or exit, then every time i accessed a storage container I was teleported into the roof above my freighter base, now whenever i put stuff into my refiner it magically disappears 😂

Had a bit of an issue with it at first. The first two attempts to input the glyphs put me in a totally diferent system on PC (and yes I triple checked the glyphs). I logged out of game and and back in and re-input glyphs and this finally put me on the correct planet. The game is very buggy since the Beyond update :) The ship is near Starbucks Base on PC and easy to find. Thanks to the original finder and Jason for putting this video up. After spending hours last night getting an S class Freighter this has saved me more hours of grinding I planned to do today to find an S class Hauler :)

so heres a tip on using coordinates. think of it as intersecting lines. i find best to get your longitude, (right side) first. then angle your ship to raise or lower you latitude(left side) to find your mark. i found this ship in 10 minutes. thanks jason.

Yeah, I grabbed three S48 haulers a few years back when they let us have extra ships. Great for extra storage space in your freighter base. TIP: drop a beacon, and use it to both mark the location AND to force a hard manual save BEFORE claiming a salvaged vehicle. That way not only can you find your old ship but you can reload (from the manual save) if something goes wrong.

Having an issue. When I put in the address, the portal takes me to a completely different system. I'm on PS4 and I've completed the main quest but rejected Atlas to stay in my starting Galaxy. But these addresses aren't matching and I can't confirm what Galaxy I'm in. Everyone is saying that the starting Galaxy is the same for everyone, did Beyond change this?

Ok so on PC, someone put a base at the spot and the ship is gone. Does that mean the ship won't respawn? Because someone put a base there? Or will it just respawn over time? And do we have any idea how long a respawn timer would be?

For anyone wondering the same thing. It did indeed respawn even though it was in the confines of a base. Loaded the game, it wasn't there, flew into space and then back down and it was there. Not sure if that triggered it, or if it just happened to respawn then. Good luck out there!

C class hauler of the same style at -45.90, -99.58. Same planet. 41+6 slots. As mentioned in another comment, the s class hauler was replaced with an ugly exotic.

7:45 Regarding claiming a crashed ship, you lose your current ship bug. Update 2.0.9 was released on August 22nd. Fixed an issue where players were charged too much for a starship when trading in their existing ship. Fixed an issue where ships that were being added to a player's fleet would be instead be traded in if purchased while the player's current ship still had cargo aboard.

Some d bag built a structure around it. And it's an s class exotic fighter now. Still cool but I can't help but feel like the building around it may have messed with what would be the haulers spawn.

Playing on the xbox one without multiplayer in creative mode. I'm currently at my 3rd galaxy, can't remember what's it called. Glyths for portal, check. Planet with two rings, check. Planet type and name, not check. Co-ordinates, check. S-class hauler ship, or any ship at all for that matter, NOT CHECK. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: just looked at comments and saw it's in Euclid. Will let you know if help if needed.

One of my buddies got all the glyphs and went to get the s class hauler. When he got there, he found that other players had build a base around the spawn point so no more crashed ships will spawn there. Maybe you can go there with multiplayer turned off? Hopefully that works

It's also buried now and someone build a base around the portal if you get in your ship and die in the portal it will spawn you outside, from there someone has built their bass on top of the coordinates when you get there there is nothing but a hole in the ground but if you go down in the hole you will find it buried and if you use your terrain manipulator to dig it out enough to get inside you can claim it in from there you can make your way back to the surface and spawn it on the surface. All you need to do is get in your ship and the ship goes through the walls it's easy to get outa there but the worst part is that where the ship use to be there's just a bunch of holes because some guy decided to destroy the land beneath the ship all that's left is the little orb that's next to the ship but the orb is underground.

Robert Franco would not recommend leaving the base because getting back in is near impossible. also, since it’s a portal warp, you can’t warp to another galaxy or use a teleporter. if you do get stuck outside, there is a corner of the base where your ship can land and you can tap through the wall when exiting your ship.

Love your Video's Jason, keep up the nice work. As of 7/29/20, on PC, location had Expoloer S Class Exotic. Very nicp ship, but was hoping for hauler.
