It's more useful than you think. Food is a great healing source for bosses. I feel that you should need to kill at least the brood mother to use it considering it has good potential

I actually found a MUCH easier way of getting past the jumping puzzle. If you go to the end, where the mosquitoes are, around there there is a rock jutting out of the water, if you jump on that, you can easily jump to the end

just discovered another change in 1.1 update.. to get a fridge recipe you only need to go to under shed lab ..swim under shed and recipe is in the first room before under shed area where the resource analyzer and ASL terminal is.. thats all

They changed its location to the moment you get into the lab that goes to the big cave under the shed it will be to the left past the two shelves with lint and berry leather and it will be on a desk

i made custom game on Whoa! difficulty with no durability loss, food doesnt spoil, pets dont die and respawn with backpacks... gotta say, it takes away alooot of frustrations in the game

yeah totally useless having the fridge unlocked at the end of the game. I simply have the in-game options on like you including meat doesnt rot - so no need for a fridge - note: doesnt work for ant eggs! Although I came here to find out how to get it so I can use it and turn off that custom option, what a shame to see its an "end-of-game" item. Devs have had 2 years to fine tune this to near perfection and ... sorry Sim, no disrespect...but they do something so stupid like this. add a well needed early game item for on-going game play at the end lmao. Im so glad its in custom options. And I love the respawn with backpack as sometimes theyve ended up in places I couldnt recover it from.

As someone who just started Grounded for the first time, I’d love it if you could give a super high level idea of where we should spend our time. Okay what do we need to do prior to the pond lab. What do we do after that? What’s after that? When do you go to which areas? Which areas to avoid until end game? Etc

The game pretty much pushes you to do the labs in a certain order or else it will block you from continuing . You'll know if you go somewhere your not supposed to because you will die frequently. Order should be oak, hedge, pond, haze, the black ant lab.

@@JCtrades984 I actually find the pond lab easier than the hedge lab, and the haze lab easier than the black ant lab. You almost dont have to fight on pond, while hedge got spiders. The black ant is harder than haze because so so so many ants. I go to the black ant lab with fully repaired gear, hasnt even find any button to press and my sword and armors were broken down by the sheer amount of ants.

I haven’t got to the end yet but I would recommend NOT turning the weedkiller gas off as you will literally have infected bugs across the whole map. Keeping it on limits them to the ditches. Turning it off will allow you to go into the ditches without a gas mask and get some resources but I don’t think the resources that are down there are worth the infected being everywhere

@@BigBudzGaming it wasn't that bad before full release. Completely worth turning off because you don't have to always keep a gas mask with you. Yes there's a few infected bugs everywhere you go but you can evade and avoid them if you like. The caverns in the haze are plentiful of resources. Much easier to farm with the haze off.

You just need a shovel and you can get t2 from the pond, personally I do pond pretty early because I like the trident.

for me the only note that spawns there is the 'glorious recipe' which gives you the ability to make Mant statues and stuff but not a fridge...

I think after collecting 4/5 burgl chips would be about right. Food has literally never been an issue for me tho. If you build say 3 fires to cook on, keep them up high you can literally just leave cooked food on them for days and it doesn't spoil.

Dont know if they have updated the placement of it, but for me it was laying on the table right next to the resource analyzer in the first room you get into going through the undershed xD so it was much easier to get for us

When story progression reset it also resets the tutorial tips, the game is trying to get you to craft a torch and that won't go away until you do. It's for when you turn on the machine in the intro since you would probably use a torch in the tunnel with mites when you start off but going back in you probably can run in blind now with no issue. Just make a torch and it will go away.
