Hello namesake, I am on joining Fridays and have been for the past four months since I could not get name brand Zepbound due to the shortage. I am at my goal weight and have lost over 55 pounds since November of last year. My compound pharmacy is Hallandale out of Florida and I have found it to be a wonderful experience. I am now on maintenance and am trading down from 10 units to 7.5 and then I will drop to five units. I am celebrating everyone’s good journey and I just wanted to encourage you since we seem to be on parallel journeys. Btw/ my insurance has never approved it but thanks be to God I have been able to not miss a beat.

I signed up for Fridays 5/29 and was able to get an consultation for the same day. Received first tirzepatide vial/supplies by 6/1 and did the 1st shot that day. Currently on my 4th week and been feeling great, moving up to 5mg next week and already have my refill! Also, i love that you get an extra dose in your vial (my pharmacy is Hallandale)

Hi, I have been contemplating doing this, but after seeing your comment about Hallandale pharmacy I was very happy. Can you please which company you went with? I am in Florida and was thinking about going with Balanced Hormone Health. Did you do Semaglutide or tirzepatide? Any assistance would be appreciated.

I did the same path as you! Just took my 4th compound shot. Love them. I lost a bunch in 3 weeks. They keeping me on the starter dose for another month, which I'm cool with. Just got my PA approved for the name brand. So my third month will be on Zepbound! (If it's available).

That’s awesome! Congrats on your success so far. I wanted to move ups quickly but now I’m kinda happy with my slow and steady approach because I really don’t want to loose weight too too fast . But that’s me personally. If I hit a stall I will definitely move up

Hi questions and tips I’m heading into week 3. Did you actually stick to an healthy diet. I don’t eat much once a day but i have been harsh snacking. Is that normal do i need to put in more work on better eating or will it do it for me?

Walmart carries Zepbound but it was going to be $550 a month no insurance but using Eli Lilly's discount card. At my annual papsmear exam my OBGYN told me he could get me the compound if I want. He told me just ask him or my PCP. That was in March so I researched and then asked my PCP. I increased my water intake and protein before I started. I was already down 5 pounds. I started at 2mg with 10 units Wednesday. Next week it will be 12 units. I need to look at my sheet to say what that equates to.

Hi, I’m just started on 3rd week. May i ask how did you get it to that much? Are you doing that on your own or that was the doses you pick and shipped? I’m doing 2.5 mg a month thats 2.5 units a week. I even tried to up and and got told i can not but i can order months in advance. But even then they will only ship out 2months worth at a time. Can you help me because i do feel i need to up my units per week

I have iPhone 12 Pro Max maybe 15 works differently b/c when I look at myself recording sideways my eyes are looking someplace else when I watch it back. But when I keep the phone upright (like tik tok) my eyes are always looking where they should. Thanks for all your feedback!

@@SummerRain927 when I record, yes I can see myself. I have the phone horizontal and I am looking at the lens, I just tried it to make sure lol . I also have the camera in cinematic mode when I record but the key is looking at the lens and not yourself in the screen

I can’t remember fully , but I think they automatically did it. In my consultation i believe I said I wanted Mounjaro if I got approved for it . And they took my information and did everything from there … hope that helps!

So I actually go to a weight loss clinic/med spa. They offer PAs. I didn't think it would benefit me so I went the compound tirz route when I started. But they told me they believed they could get it covered andI decided after about 8 weeks ok , let's try. My insurance only covered for wegovy which is semaglutide..so i did switch to it. I even still go in to let them give me my shots 😂

Hi! No I haven’t heard of that company unfortunately 😕 And if insurance approves you then you have to find it in a pharmacy on your own. The company only provides compound GLP-1 meds from their pharmacies I hope that helps!

So with Fridays is it through your insurance or is it private pay? Because if you’re mentioning prior authorization then it’s through insurance. I’m confused lol. And so less than $300 for the meds plus the consultation. I knew someone who went to a private pay weight loss clinic and she lost about 60lbs and so far has kept it off and she was on tirzepatide. I went to that same clinic and it was $100 for just the consult and for the one month supply of tirzepatide 2.5 mg it was $600. I think I’m switching to Fridays.

With Fridays they provide compound so it’s out of pocket. And they took my insurance info after my appointment and then came back and said I was approved for Mounjaro, so I’m assuming that is a PA they did?! Idk 🤷🏾‍♀️ lol 😂 And wow that is expensive! I dropped four pounds this month and took my 4th 2.5mg injection this morning. I’m wondering if I should tell them that I’ve been on 2.5mg this entire time titrate me up. IDK. Cause I consider them pretty affordable compared to the weight loss clinic I was seeing for $600 + /month

@@humbleadoration that’s awesome! I would say talk to a provider but do what you feel is best for your body. I personally said I wouldn’t move up until I felt like I was hitting a stall. I did feel like I was stalling for almost two weeks and now things are moving again so I still haven’t bumped up to .5 yet. But considering it for next month maybe
