What is one change you can make today to get into more alignment?
@brettAnichols5 жыл бұрын
My alignment is asking me to deeply understand that I need everyone else to play their role and be on their journey. When I find myself critical of others it's a reaction to missing the moment: missing my chance opportunity to be me, now❤️ Thank you for your wisdom and sharing your journey. Love is the answer, our individual dreams are the questions!

I'm currently working on a 'relationship book' - compiling a notepad to help navigate an awesome, conscious relationship. I'm owning my difficulties in the past and the future triggers which may show up. I am honouring building the conditions for the kind of partnership I feel aligned with, (plus using those tools in my platonic relationships now!) I figure the partner I will enter a relationship with next is going to be an amazing individual and I want to offer them the best life with me that I can give ♥️

I have gone to "the woodstock fruit festival" in New York and "playthink" in Kentucky. If you went to playthink I wouldn't know what to do... I would really want to go because I would want to hang out with you guys... but I wouldn't have my husband to go with me... he is getting his massage degree this year. LoL 💗 Festivals are way fun... or at least meeting amazing people is what I love!

Wow. Screeching halt two minutes into the video. I'm pretty surprised that a group of people trying to promote understanding and equity and approaching life with love and respect would so flippantly make a comment about a "lady boy." I understand what your journey is trying to accomplish and I understand you want to go into it with an open heart and have fun and play, but that just instantly cut that accomplishment down in my eyes. To step forward with leading edge momentum and to figure out how to go into this twenty-first century world authentically and approaching all with love includes transgender individuals. I'm pretty disheartened that your joy took the format of devaluing another human and that was what you decided to broadcast.

Hey boys 💚 If you read this, I think your mission is amazing and I'm not upset with you at alll - I do think this would be an excellent learning opportunity though as putting myself in the shoes of a trans individual the joke could be not so nice to hear. Many trans folks really struggle with their sexuality because they are often fetishized or seen as a joke and they are more likely to be victims of assault and sexual assault so on top of the dysphoria many carry a deep programming of shame and trauma - something that Adam can no doubt relate to from his own experience. We are programmed by society to find humour in certain topics and as society shifts in awareness, our old programming may not initially align with what is the new boundaries of humour. It's cool that the experience invites you to learn more about the transgender community if you feel a calling and to view what was harmless fun from your lens in an interesting new way :)
