One thing that really makes you Alexa stands out from all the KZbin growing channels out there is you share real life experience and teaching. And that's what keeps me coming. Can you make a video on how to money from affiliate marketing as a KZbinr

Thank you ❤ Will start my channel with Tarot-Readings and Psychology inspiration. I worked offline for 20 years as a crisismanager and Life-Coach and start a new life in Sweden next year with my own onkine business 🎉 Superpower: Can see and feel why others are struggeling and can help to overcome it with readings and mentorings.

The thing I found most inspiring in this video (in addition to all your great advice!) was that you… just make your video come what may!! I’ve got some great ideas for videos but do tend to overthink each video. As I tend to film outdoors while walking on this channel (I have 3 different channels), I can be easily put off by the weather, the time of day, too many people at the filming location, imposter syndrome to mention just a few! However, even having your creative space invaded by the “little people” didn’t stop you! I’ve been thinking about a daily walk video and your ‘just do it’ attitude is inspiring me to have a go. Thanks for being you and sharing who you are, as much as what you know.🙂👍

Thank you! 😊 I really want to inspire people to “just do it” and well if I wait for my kids to be quiet or leave me alone…it’s never going to happen! 😅😂 But I hear you with filming outside and if there are too many people around…if there is even a single person in a mile radius of me, I put my phone away. 🤣 working on that one. 🫣😅

Hi Alexa! Do you record on your phone? Do you edit on your phone or laptop? And how do you transfer your video recordings from your phone to your laptop?
@AlexaSaarenoja
@AlexaSaarenoja 2 ай бұрын
I record two different ways, either on my macbook air with the camera embedded in the laptop or I record with my phone if I am out walking and recording. If I record on my laptop and I edit in imovie...I don't need to transfer files, if I record on my phone I use airdrop to transfer my files from my phone to my laptop. If I use my desktop to edit on divinici then I email my videos from my phone or I plug my phone directly into my computer and transfer them from there. I don't like to edit on my phone...hurts my eyes so I edit on my laptop or desktop. If I edit things like shorts, I can do those on my phone and then I use Capcut. Hope this helps! xoxo

Your assistant makes a delightful addition to your video. I especially loved your idea on asking other people about things I'm good at. That is my most difficult aspect of niching down. I don't believe I specialize or have "super powers" that would could be turned into videos.

From a 40 something looking to use my writing and encouragement giftings to empower and encourage others I appreciate your transparency and willingness to operate in the same perspective; especially when your an older parent juggling parenthood and marriage as I am (loved the "added benefit" of seeing how you interacted with your daughter, and the adorably cute moment you both had there! ). Wonderful share alexa. Passion intersects with proficiency and we learn to teach it in entertaining manner (edutainment component covered). However, market research to determine competition, profitability, future potential is very important as youtube is really crowded over last few years. Lets consider my case study. I've posted 1300+videos all unedited but covering a single location (mainly) posting consistently over last 14+ months. I've already hit 4000 watch hours last year, hit 500 subscribers last week and working on next milestone by following same consistent posting process. Though competition is not very high so does the demand to learn more about the location. Lots of permutations and combinations. Still start with something you already know and will be comfortable sharing with others as youtube needs momentum for growing further. Waiting on next video from you

I know my niche is not sexy or exciting, but it's necessary. I went in never expecting to be monetized. I just want to help others avoid the mistakes my family made by not planning for how they want to live in their golden years and equipping their family for the 'what if' scenarios. Every like, comment, and share is currency to me.

Thanks again really enjoying watching your videos . As we have discussed before my niche is a bit broad and what tends to stick and bring in some numbers isn’t really what I thought would 😂 for example the best videos were “why start a KZbin channel later in life” and “financial things I wish I had know earlier” . Two very different niches really…so it’s really hard to sometimes work out the next video…but guess that’s a good problem to have…keep going as loving coming back and watching your content .

I think there are certain videos in any niche that will do well, thus I would choose a niche you love first, then find the videos and topics you enjoy posting about within the niche and sprinkle in those popular videos to help growth. 💜

I am pretty sure what my channel will be about. I am working on it already. It will be about making content on KZbin like your channel, but it will have its focus on efficiency. So, how can you make in the shortest amount of time a good quality video. So a lot of the content will be about automating things or doing things more efficient with the help of templates or other tricks that help you speed up your workflow. It will be in Dutch so that is also a sort of way to niche down. Although a lot of people in the Netherlands speak English, it is still for most of us easier to learn something in our native tongue.

Perhaps your channel is mostly shorts viewers/subs and not interested in long format. You could start another channel to focus on the long format more specifically. I do think both ways required work though and nothing will be a quick fix. So it’s really up to you. 😅💜
