I've caught a few fish on jigs and wax worms, not a bunch but usually they work for me when it gets really cold out. If I use wax worms during warm weather I use just wax worms on a hook. Especially for skams on late summer. When the bobber goes down assume it's a fish. I've had them just grab it as it goes by and I think it's a snag, ends up being a fish. Great video and nice fish.

There's 2 beads. Doesn't seem like a lot to me. But what do you mean by trolling weight? One that clamps on the line ?

Sorry I meant 2 beads around the weight. I know there's other beads by the float. I think I've seen the weight you're referring to. Just personal preference I guess. Bought a big pack of egg sliding sinkers years ago and never have seemed to go through them so I keep using em

@@rickyshiltsgolf I do follow addicted already. They do more of the main river stuff nothing like Far East in Washington. On the slow moving snake river or even the touchet. I must try this next time I go out. Do they usually hit the wax when it’s colder or at all temperatures?
@rickyshiltsgolf
@rickyshiltsgolf 3 жыл бұрын
@@tony1519 for some reason here in Michigan most people only use them in the cold probably because its a smaller bait when the metabolism is low. BUT they DEFINITELY will eat wax worms at ANY time of year if there's one in their feeding range. Hope that helps! Tight lines!
