How to Fit Threaded Barrel in Safariland Holster

Safariland holsters are great but they're not designed for threaded barrels. The Hugo Industries Threaded Barrel Stop fixes this issue. It allows you to use the Safariland holsters with a threaded barrel without sacrificing retention and with no play in the gun while in the holster.

I have a glock 19 threaded, all I did was order my holster for a glock 17 and it fits perfectly. If you have a glock 17 threaded, order a holster for the glock 34 and it should fit perfectly. But yeah this is good if you already have a holster and get a threaded barrel after the fact!

i took the plug out of mine and left it without a plug and it does not move around freely like yours does in this video. it stays perfectly in one place the way it’s supposed to when i push and pull up and down on it. but yours does. why is that?

There was no hardware for the second hole of the plate, is it supposed to come with hardware for the second hole? If not, where do I get the hardware? Edit: the plate is rotating when I holster it forcefully Edit 2: saw the part where he takes the plastic pin out of the old barrel stop and puts it in the new one.

Mine does not work. The Hugo Industries stop is the same size as the stop that shipped with my Safariland holster, but is lacking the barrel plug. So my threaed (and comped) p320 does not go any deeper into the holster than with the out of the box Safariland stop.

The nub on the oem piece is a dust cover to keep debree like sand and dust out of the barrel for those that carry it daily. Even an 8mm 1/4 tall plug would help retain that design feature without the concern of it breaking off. Your first shot would very likely clear the obstruction if it did break off though.
