Repeatedly turn off your pc three times in a row and it should boot into automatic repair. from there go to troubleshooting, advanced options and from there you should see startup options, with a cog logo. Click it, and then press F5. It should boot into safe mode from then.

For me it was the fact that my second display has a resolution of 1440x900, and my main is 1080p. My main was trying to be shown on my secondary, and my secondary display just said "input not supported" in the middle with a black screen around because it's old. The Win + P fixed my issue. Thanks!

What worked for me was to go to control pannel\hardware and sound\ device manager\universal serial bus controllers\usb root hub\properties\power managment\ and uncheck the box "allow to computer to turn off this device to save energy" Do this to all USB and it will fix your issue. whats happening to me is that i will be doing something normally playing a game my screen will suddenly turn black after about 10 minutes off playing, if im lucky it will go back to normal and say that something went wrong with my driver and that it "recovered" but obiously it did not because it will do the same thing in about a half an hour. @@sijanTHEgreat well it semed that it was because a program i used before that overclocked my monitor screen with faster hz. when i uninstalled it then all my black screens dissapeared :D The software i used was called OSR (overclock screen refresh), if you are using it then try to uninstall it then maybe it will fix you black screens. if task bar didn't appear read bellow u can solve problem by pressing windows+shift+ctrl+B (if it didn't work read below) 1-i entered KZbin by not having any Ui by entering task manager by pressing ctrl+shift+esc 2-then on top left press file and run a new task and type %appdata% (If u want to uninstall a program that u think is the problem type instead of %appdata% type control to access control panel and then press uninstall a program and uninstall the program u want) boom u accessed file explorer. 3-then press desktop on left and press windows explorer I hope I helped u ( try keeping your pc awake for about 30 mins to work just like me it worked with me)

I have 3rd problem. The monitor, that is not working is on DVI cable, while in Nvidia Control Panel it is shown on VGA port. I had this issue before, and was able to fix it with unplugging/replugging DVI cable. But after recent Windows Update it doesnt work anymore. Method with Win +P doesnt apply to me, because my GPU has only 1 DVI port (1HDMI 3DisplayPort), so I do not have another DVI port to try on. If I completely uninstall the Nvidia driver, monitor works, but only until I install GPU drivers or Windows does it. How do I make it recognize my monitor on DVI, not on VGA.

Hello, I'm using a dual monitor and everything seems to be working. However If I disconnect one of them, doesn't matter which, the other one still conncted will go black and wont turn on. When trying to only use monitor wont work, it will go black after login. The screen will only work if both monitors are connected to the GPU. Even when both of them are connected. if I change things such as adaptive sync on the monitor settings, turning on HDR or choosing which monitor to be only displayed, both monitors will turn black. So, my brother has a problem. The idiot has turned on 3D Stereotopic Display on a machine with only onboard graphics, he now only gets a black screen, or rather his tv says "no signal". It doesn't just do this in normal windows operation, but even in safemode; apparently onboard graphics and generic Microsoft Windows drivers keep this turned on, even in safemode. So, how to turn off/reset/reinstall the driver to non 3D Display outside of safemode, in basic recovery fuction from recovery disc?

Thanks. I had this problem and fixed it by disabling G-Sync through NVIDIA. Whenever I play a game that has fullscreen turned on, it would just turn to black but disabling G-SYNC fixed it.

Came here to find solution for my monitors sudden blackscreen, turns out it was the ram, cleaned them before reinstalling them back to the motherboard.I First checked by turning pc on with 1 ram stick installed and the monitor works fine but it turned black when the second ram stick is installed and not just that, both the ram stick on the second slot also gives the same problem the blackscreen so I cleaned the slot thoroughly and properly make sure they are installed correctly and then the second slot works then I installed the ram on the first slot then somehow both of them are not giving me black screen now.

Problem starts after a couple of hours of shutting down when I turn on the pc during the boot in the upper corner it says 60hz, everything is black and I learned that this is a sign that the windows will not start. Default is 165hz and that number is always on the corner of the screen which is ok. I turn off the pc, it turns off instantly and immediately after that I turn it on and everything is fine and dandy. A few days back I switched from an Nvidia GPU to AMD. Mostly my fault because I probably burned out my Nvidia card over time. Didn't think I'd run into black screens with the AMD this early. Even though I uninstalled Nvidia drivers and AMD is up to date, today I got "Display Driver Uninstaller" to clean my system of all Nvidia drivers/etc. So far so good and hopefully it'll all be fine now.

Nah like my monitor just doesn't work I think. One minute everything was fine, the next I have black screen. Its dvi to hdmi. You can turn it on and the screen will show for a second then flicker off. It really confuses me greatly. Then I picked it up to see what it was doing and the screen came on stayed on for a bit. I wanted to just leave it be but we kept trouble shooting and it went back to this. Man I just want my games back

Hi, i have b450 gaming plus and i have problems with my 8gb ram from lpx corsair, after some gaming it frezze my computer and my monitor enters in stand by, can anyone help me please to fix it? Thank you

@@sijanTHEgreat sure you can ask anything, i solved it, i buyed an m2 nvme adata ssd and my problems gone, but, the most issues comes from w10 because of its updates, im so stressed about these stupid updates cause after this new update my windows fails with BSOD and red led cpu every day, that is the first main issue, i play games and my build worked so great at 2160×1440 p, but after this new update it fails all sistem, guess what, EVEN MY SISTEM RESTORE POINTS ARE GONE, it really sucks, i have to install windows at a month, is so stressfull maan...

@@sijanTHEgreat then some methods for you, take some air spray and clean all the components including the cpu, change the thermal paste, and the dust at all pieces and all ports, then will fix too, i had that issue too and solved it

@@sijanTHEgreat there is a program for BSOF, search on google and install it, it will give you the name of BSOD and you can solve it thru google too
