Just so this is mentioned if someone, like myself, looks up the problem and they have an answer. At the point where you talk about the asteroid and mining it and not being able to go on without skipping that part, you can also use the di command to get the debug info. window and get the POI number from that and use the regenerate command to have the game regenerate the POI for you. I just did it with a quest that needs me to use a console that was no longer there and this worked beautifully. Hope this helps someone out there.

Helped me out too! My friends and I found a capital ship and salvaged it on the moon, before we got the quest to go there.. Terminals and everything we were supposed to interact with were gone. Thanks!

Thank you so much! The tutorial Settlement Marker did disapear for me and this video helped a lot fixing the issue. I used "pda clrchap 323" (Robinson Protocol II) But the mission was deleted and did not appear again... With "pda" I red that there is a pda brief command and using that with "pda brief 323" I could restart the Second Tutorial part and got the marker back in the end :)

Got stuck on Meet the glad chap 7. Type: pda brief 9 in the console. This restarted the briefing and gave me waypoints...back in business baby! I have no idea why I had to type 9 for chap 7 but it is what it is. this is in project Eden. Hope this helps some other poor soul.

Well damn me, my 3rd chapter was also bugged out and after I reset it with these commands, it just doesn't start again, I try to sit in Sky Bar with beer in my inventory but nothing triggers. EDIT: So I searched Empyrion pda commands on their wiki, and I tried brief command to force start the chapter and it Worked! the command was: "pda brief 4" in my case it's number 4 not 9, I guess it's because this video is over a year old now and the game got updated.

I did the clear chapter to fix a bugged quest but the activate quest button is greyed out.

About half the time i just check the boxes to get through the quests without ever bothering to do them. i have done them once and am not interested in doing them again unless or until they change with a major update.

I'm trying what the vid says but when I type the pda lschaps it's saying srv no permission? I'm on the very first quest to plug into a antenna but it doesn't show me where it is.... If u can help me I would gladly appreciate it, thank u for the vid

I'm trying to figure out how to restart a mission or chapter and playing on a server, i got kicked from server for using the lscaps command :(. I'm probably just going to have to skip the step instead but was hoping to just restart. It's one where says to kill drones but they are gone.
