Talking about the bracket on the throttle body. I don't think you said something about a black ground wire. I have a 2007 Sebring 2.4. The bolt for my bracket also is the connection for the ground wire to my starter. That black ground wire is really easy to miss removing the bolt. Thank you for your time making this video. These videos help to have an good idea what you're diving into. I'm 51 and before KZbin. 16 and my for set of wheels was a truck. Then I had note book where I draw diagrams of what I was working on. Draw part, where it went, how many bolts with size. It helped long before KZbin came out.

not sure if we even disconnected it lol but thanks for the info!

They should use metal to build the valve covers and intake manifolds. There's no way that over the years, the engine and ambient heat and cooling is going to warp all of them creating vacuum leaks.

@@thegoodinu definitely agree! It's cost savings for them and headaches for us

Hello.... I had a P0660 code on my 2010 Dodge Journey V6 105k miles, about the valve. Just the code, nothing wrong with the car, running fine. I replaced the valve in bank 1, the one with the butterfly present, I bought a cheap aftermarket valve. The P0660 code is gone, but now I have the P1005 code. The car continues to run fine without any failures. I've already checked the wiring and in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with it. I also went further and with my scanner active I disconnected the connector from valve 1 and connected it to the old valve and activated the tests through my scanner, toggle function. It moves normally opening and closing. So I think that my problem was not the valve, but for what reason did I have a change in the error codes going from P0660 to P1005 after put the nem valve?? I did the same test on the bank 2 valve, the one with the butterfly built into the intake manifold and it is also working normally, opening and closing. I checked if the built-in butterfly is moving normally, and yes, it is not stuck. Can you give me any advice on what my next step would be to solve the problem? Thank you!!!

Was the butterfly valve totally smooth it should have near zero resistance

@@DIYKAI In the case of the valve on bank 1, when I move it with my hand, it has a type of spring that keeps it in a certain position, I think its normally. In the case of the valve on bank 2, I don't feel any resistance when I move it inside the intake manifold.

Thanks for this! I replaced the solenoid, but it failed again, so thinking this is the next step. Looking at it, it seemed like I needed to remove the whole valve cover to be able to remove the intake, but apparently not! How's the Amazon part working out, especially with that solenoid?

Your welcome! Still going strong no issues at all.

It is keyed when you put the motor on it should slide in and that's it

replaced the manifold, MAF sensor, MCAV already, no more than 200 miles on it. I got these codes. Anything else that could cause this? We cleaned everything up before we put the new one on.

Did you check the pcv hose under the manifold? What codes are you getting? The MAF usually don't affect the manifold.codes

What is a MCAV?

@@DIYKAI just using an acronym, manifold runner control valve, should have used that instead. LOL
