@Britec09 Please my USB drive is showing its file system as RAW. I have tried all methods including Command Prompt. Do you have any idea or video on how to solve this problem? Thanks in anticipation.

Started the video immediately with a great deal of hope, As my computer has been out of service for three weeks now; immediately let down, because my computer won’t even post. No monitor signal. Goes off after 30 to 45 seconds, stays off about three seconds, then comes back on. Tried clearing the CMOS, reseating GPU and the ram; nothing. Will try to bring it into a computer repair shop this week, and get that process started. Thank you for the effort though. I do always enjoy watching your videos.

Perfect timing! I just got a very old PC for free very recently and did a reset and just updated everything yesterday and the system powered on just once after updating and then it just showed Automatic repair process failed everytime and it won't boot up. Unfortunately, it says the system does not have any Administrator account so I can't access CMD or any other option in troubleshooting because of that including resetting the PC! It even failed to reset. Got solution to use a Windows Media Installation through a Pendrive and hopefully it works.

Just image the system with Macrium Reflect, Acronis, etc. Then you don't have to remember commands and the entire system is always backed up, and you can pull individual files if accidentally deleted and such. If you haven't made Windows create the registry back up this method isn't an option anyway so it isn't like it is an ideal solution for any non-bootable system.

Hi Britec, do you have any fix for a laptop that continuously is Fixing (C):? It goes through to stage 2 then says(after days) didn't restart. Okay so restart it then it goes right back to Fixing C and repeats. It's been doing this for about a week now and it hasn't fixed itself. I think this all started after a windows 10 update. Thanks.

Excellent stuff Brian as usual. if I had a restore point created for my pc and my files got corrupted as you mentioned will the restore system help or do I need to do a regback?
@Britec092 жыл бұрын
System restore can save you sometimes, but there is a possibility that it also fails during the restore process and this can leave you in limbo where it can't roll back and it can't go forward back to the original state. I've seen this happen many times and you will then have to do a full installation of Windows

Pretty straightforward really. If you've used command prompt before it's not for everyone. Hence why system restore is a lot easier but there's no guarantee that it's going to work. Also, you can end up restoring viruses back onto your system if it was some sort of virus infection that you've had previously
