How to fix a Predator 212 that will start but not idle

Nailed it! I wanted to thank you for helping me get my custom adult mini running correctly. I came home from a 7 week dirt bike trip and my little mini was running like crap. Took the carb off twice, cleaned main jet, bowl, etc..This is exactly what was wrong. Now I can fix same prob on my generator too. Thank you so much!

I’m running no ethanol and cleaned the carb twice and will run on choke for a little while but then die if I give it throttle it will run but won’t idle. Do you have any idea why it’s doing that?

It catches and fires off a few rpms n fans flat on its face i dont have the factory style tank fire fuel will that affect it

speed will depend on your gear ratio... that said, the black screw he removes in this video li its throttle, try moving that screw out a bit more. :)

My 212 doesn’t want to idle after i got into a crash it starts up good i already checked the carb it was a bit dirty from the outside but the inside was fine idk what the problem on it is

Check the carb gaskets. That’ll keep it from starting

THIS IS THE FIX.... HAHAHAHA YES. Unclogged that hole and bam 4 year old engine runs like new. Super easy fix... Thank You So Much...
