I got pwk and when I'm doing a hard pull it runs awesome but when I creep the bike just cruising it's good but if I wanna cruise a little faster it kinda dies but if I full throttle it it picks up super quick and I'm flying down the road.

@@warzone7571 sounds like fuel starvation from your pilot jet as that's responsible for the first bit of throttle. Check your pilot jet and increase for more fuel. But once you get more than half throttle and it picks up no problem then definitely check your pilot jet

Makes so much sense because I'm running a Mikuni vm22 with a 100 Main/ 30 Pilot here in West LA. My minibike idle is too strong it want's to go off but bogs hitting my race throttle which I thought was lean... but it turns out accordingly resonating with your video about top end. Plus, it's hard to tell but my spark plug has a sooty deposit so i think that has to change. Thanks for the info it really helps.

Are you sure it’s bogging and not struggling for more fuel. Lower your needle one notch. It helps 3/4 throttle

this video helped a little bit to figure out my problem, but hypothetically say ur in a penny pinching build n you have to make it work, would adjusting the air to fuel ratio fix the bogging if the jet is to big? (ik buying a new smaller jet would be easier n not much more expensive but like a wise man once said if you dont know then u better learn)

i have the same problem for example I could go full throttle on high speed with out no problem but when I stop and pull the throttle it starts doing the same thing like in the video where you put on the 180 jet and I bought my pwk carburetor 28mm out of the box

I believe the 28 mm carbs are slightly big. Try a 24 mm . It will wake the motor up .

Mine runs fine for about 10 minutes, but once the engine is heated up it bogs down and dies whenever I come to a stop. I've been trying to find a solution to this issue for weeks. Mini bike is brand new and has a stage 1 kit from Go Power Sports on it.

It sounds like you tuned the carburetor cold. The motor will idle differently when it is cold vs when it is warm. Ideally you should get your motor warm, then tune. This should stop the bogging

@matthewsperry8463 I appreciate the response. Unfortunately I already tried that with no luck. I've tried a half a dozen things from air filters to carb tuning to bigger and smaller jets. I even tried setting the idle speed up much higher, nothing seems to work sadly. Extremely frustrating.

@@HorrorFXDesigns Hate to hear it. Only other thing I can think of is if your valves are out of spec. This shouldn’t affect idle too much unless it’s wayy off, and considering you only have a stage 1 the valves should still have stock spacing. I set both of mine to .003, but I believe stock is .004-.006 for intake and .006-.008 for exhaust

Fixed my problem it was the spark plug ignition but now my bikes bogging at the top end when am going like 50 or once i get to 60 my bike wants to bog before hitting 60 lmk am located close by.

With the half turn throttle...prolly putting too much fuel in too fast. The engine RPMs have to be higher in order to make use of all that extra fuel. Racing applications...you'd be on the line with the brakes on and spinning up the motor for a hard launch. But for casual riding...the engine doesn't need all that gas so it bogs out. The plug fouls and all kinds of nastiness happens. Diluting the oil with gas and stuff like that.

So you didnt change the pilot? I bought a nibbi 28mm. I got the top end good with a 120 jet. Since it has an extra top jet i can move for more fuel on top end. But having issues with launch, when i floor it all the way it bogs, i have to ease pn the throttlw. So messed with the pilot jet & bit with the needle. But im going to hold to it for my stage 4 212 buils. Maybe it will be easier to tune incase i need for air/fuel in that engine. In my 24mm im running a 140 pilot & 130 main & runs good, bit slow on start (maybe to big pilot) now went to a 26mm & still need bit of tuning but way faster tho.

Stick a laser pointer on the top of the chain or tape it on at the back sprocket pointing towards the engine clutch. Or old fashioned make a straight rod that bolts op to the axle and bends perfectly 90degs towards tire and 90 deg again towards grind of bike. Motion pro makes a chin alignment tool for this

You can adjust the needle on the carb. There is a clip that you can move up or down on the grooves of the needle to lower how much gas goes into the carb. Had a problem on my pt bike with a 105cc engine (basically my mini bike but swapping to 212 soon💀) I’d ride for about 10 mins with no problem whatsoever then it’ll randomly cut off and just start spewing gas out of the carb , the fuel shut off or throttle is the only thing that could be causing my issue , turned down my idle screw and seem to be doing alright for now ( fuel air mixture already tuned) but swapping to 212 soon tired of messing with a Chinese engine and carb 🤷🏽‍♂️
