How to Fix a Silicone Mold: The Ultimate Guide

Hi guys! In this video, I am showing you how to fix a silicone mold. This beautiful silicone mold split while in storage and it is easy to fix this silicone mold instead of throwing it away. So, I wanted to show you the least expensive way to save a broken silicone mold, incase you find yourself in the same situation. I hope my tips for fixing a silicone mold are helpful and that you are able to fix your own silicone molds to make more projects out of them. I tried Smooth on Sil=poxy today on a skin that lifted out of my mold base or silicone. It will bond and form if you put release on models. It is pricey but less than the casting silicone.

I saw it! Question, I have a wooden mold that has been cut out by a 3-D printer, the wood has a slight split in it because it’s dry here in Colorado. Can you tell me what I can use to fill the split? Should I use clay, or some sort of glue then sand? Thank you! Love to watch your channel. -Momo
