I damaged my Achilles Tendon 3 years ago. I was 61 years old, in a lot of pain and worried about a permanent injury. So after limping for 12 months getting rubbish advice from doctors, I got some old time home remedy advice and soaked my complete foot in a warm solution of Epsom Salts twice a day. TWO WEEKS later no pain, completely healed, no recurrence. Thought I should let you all know.

What is epsom salt? Is it similar to normal salt?
@BlackcurrantJam7 жыл бұрын
Epsom salts is Magnesium sulfate, great for muscles but I agree with cool... it does work. it brings great relief when added to bath and also detoxifies body during bath but you need at least 30-40min in the bath/ you go in the hottest water you can stand.

I’ve been having problems with my Achilles Tendonitis for over a year now. The podiatrist just gave me stretch exercises and told me to wear a night sprint to bed and nothing worked. Yesterday I woke up and couldn’t put any weight on my right foot. I was going to call my podiatrist but I decide to check KZbin for any information on Achilles Tendonitis and found your video. The massage helped me tremendously and now I can walk with no pain. You saved me trip to the Doctor and money. Thank you, thank you so much for your informational video.

as a nurse I so appreciate your knowledge on the physical aspects I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis for 9 months now and no one has mentioned the importance of dietary issues and I knew there must have been a reason for chronic inflammation in that area so watching your video today confirmed that for me so appreciate the knowledge to tackle this at its root issue and not just symptomatic problem

First of all, thank you so much! Best video here on You Tube. I swim, bike, run a lot, eat quite healthy, though had some unhealthy habits that i think wrecked my recovery. I felt like really "not on point" regarding my health. Drinking too much coffee, 7 to 8 coffees per day. Kicked out the coffee, now about 2 per week. Started drinking green tea, and lots of water. No snacking at night, maybe just some yoghurt with like pure cacao bits, and blueberries, lots of antioxidants. Then, the scraping with the wrench was so powerful. When I started there was a lot of granular tissue, but after a week, everything is already a lot smoother. Actually ran also 35k last week. Injury still not completly gone, but the progress is massive. Thanks again!!

Thanks so much. Your a smart kid. Better than most doctors. I've had Achilles insertional problem for 4 years, last month it finally got too bad to run, because I over did it on hills and pushed too hard in a race while it was aggravated. I've stopped running now for 3 weeks, started all these types of treatment and seen amazing progress already. I can walk with no pain, morning there is no pain. Changed my diet and feel great. I hope to run again easy in a month, but I'm being patient this time. thanks again.

So I have to update since using your recommendation of Vitamin Combo. I had a 30% tear in my right achilles that WOULDN'T heal (diagnosed with an MRI). I found your video after 1 year of pain and hobbling. In 3 months of putting your suggestions to use, the pain was gone. And after another couple of months making sure it was totally healed and stretched, I'm back to running! So, Vitamin K2, Vitamin A, Vitamin D (fish oil) combo healed it. I didn't change my diet, but I REDUCED sugar intake, drank more water, stretched slowly, BUT still ate out a lot 😞. It still healed and bc I'm running again, I'm eating clean and everything is perfect. I'm 43 and felt like I was 80. Now I feel like I'm 30 again. You changed my life. 💛 THANK YOU!!

@lurker-mq4fp Жыл бұрын
@@podgurje100 I had to firstly find shoes that properly fitted me. I had 2 cortisone injections in the bottom of my left heel (the 2nd one seemed to work a lot better). I drank a lot more water during the day, and I stretched my calf religiously. I cut out tomatoes and fizzy drinks as I heard that acid was related to inflammation. Even when it was painful to walk on it I had to get the leg strong again so I had to persist through the pain barrier. It will go away, you have to play the long game, sadly.

Minus the injury the gains of my feet hitting the floor as they should with the response is immense.
