Hey if you have this problem but the Video doesnt helped you, try this out -> Activate the V-Sync in youre game setings that helped me to hold 30/60 FPS at OBS :)

I have a monster of a pc and yet obs just lags constantly while shadowplay doesn't. I use new nvenc on both and virtually have the same settings. I have a 240hz 1080p monitor and would rather use obs. However, I cant because of this lag issue. Its 2020 and i'm wondering why they haven't fixed any of these issues yet to where you can game at high fps and still be able to record 60 fps with no issues.

recording with GPU is always recommended but if you have a bad CPU then your system as a whole is bottlenecked

if you dont have a monitor that higher as 60hz it can only push out 60 fps, and if you playing on unlimited it pushing your pc for basicly nothing... if you have an higher hz monitor it can push more fps to be able to see it :) so its getting capped on your hz monitor that your pc doesnt have to work his ass off for nothing and can use it for something else :)
