Thank you , I used x2 small elastic bands on either side about 50mm long and used a black magic marker , I will swap over with the larger band when I can , awesome thanks for posting

Thanks a lot. Works for me. I used 2 fairly large rubber bands and simply went there and back twice (the replacement part is *over £100* new)

I just used small screws both sides of plastic (screw head acting as a stop for the spring). Then I used pliers to get spring into place. Fixed no risk of bands snapping. Spring cannot come away.

Wedge open the door with a small plastic tool (spatula works) then there are three screws to remove.

fixed thanks! Then the button broke. The trim in these cars is woeful, never seen it on any other brand this poor. Designed to disintegrate.
