Would have never even thought of doing this myself. Teslas are so unique. But I followed the video and I did it with no issues whatsoever. Bought the part directly from a Tesla service center close to home for 10 dollars and I did this in 30 minutes. It’s even easier than what it looked like in the video. Thank you so much! Tesla service wanted $150 to do the job.

All perfect and I have one suggestion: when replacing the black fastener pins, you can pull out the pin of the fastener that is sort of like a molly bolt. If you do that, you can replace the circle piece first and then put in the pin to fasten it down. Much easier!

You can also repair it yourself, as the plastic is usually made of PE. For example, pour acetone into an old glass, cut a Lego brick (also made of PE) into small pieces with pliers (side cutters) and put the pieces into the acetone. The acetone will dissolve the Lego brick over a few hours and you will get a PE paste. Now you can glue the broken part back on with the PE paste and even strengthen the edges so that the holder is even more stable. Of course you can also reinforce a new part at the old breakage point, here you don't need a Lego brick either, just use the old part and cut it into small pieces.
