How To Fix Cadillac CTS Cue Screen Not Working

My mom gots a 2011 Cadillac cts her cue screen won’t go up how do I get that fix

the 2011 wouldn't be a CUE screen screen. Sounds like that is the mechanism and the unit made need to be greased or replaced

2013 CTS... POP SPILLED ON DASHBOARD 3 DAYS LATER TRIED TO TURN HEAT UP. I PUSHED HEAT ARROW UP BUT IT WILL NOT MOVE PASS 60 DEGREES. ON THE PASSENGER SIDE HEAT ARROW WORKING . THE HEAT WILL RANDOMLY COME ON WITHOUT ME PUSHING THE ARROW WHILE IM DRIVING AND DROP BACK DOWN TO 60 AND SWITCH FM TO AM ON RADIO. WHAT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED? I ASK ONE SHOP AND THEY SAID IT WOULD COST MORE TO REPAIR THAN TO BUY ANOTHER CAR 🤔🤔

Does the screen respond to your touch or you replying to hard buttons only

If your drink spilled completely over the radio it could have potentialy messed it up but I doubt that is the issue if it was only a little. More than likely it would have thrown a fuse if it was saturated internally. So I believe screen replacement could resolve your issue based on previous customers but I still would not be able to fully gaurantee. It would be your least expensive solution and that is always a good place to start when the other alternatives are much more expensive. I would suggest cleaning it very good first and testing it again before anything though. You can also take it apart as if you were going to change the screen but just clean from the back as well and retesting before ordering. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching

I have CTS 2014, I bought 2 screens already. The first is on amazon for $32 and the second on ebay for $26. None of them work. I already did a hard reset of CUE and nothing works. I think it's Chinese crap. So far I'm using the old screen, it's flaking inside, at least it works.

You may not be hooking it up correctly I recommend making sure the ribbon is installed right. Hope this helps

@@jasonateam I would be glad if that was the case... I have connected these screens many times already. Only the one that was originally on the car works. The ones I bought don't work.

@@jasonateam The seller wrote to me that I have a screen model of 2018. I don't know if this can happen on a 2014 car. I have repaired my screen. Dismantled it and removed the gel from it
