How many times a week/day would you recommend doing this? I suffer from chronic inflammation from several ankle sprains. What is the expected treatment time.

I fractured my ankle (lateral malleolus) last July. It did not require a surgery because the ankle bones were in alignment, and it healed well. I was already jogging about three months after the fracture. By December my ankle was completely fine. Or so I thought. Last January I made a couple interval sprinting sessions and since then my ankle has been a mess. I cannot walk with it long distances and it always feels stiff and weak. It feels like something is wrong with my ankle, I just feel and sense it. I had an MRI in the late February and it revealed that I had a tear in Syndesmosis and Medial ligaments. And I had a partial split tear in my peroneal brevis tendon. My ortho thinks that it should not require a surgery though. Do you think I caused more damage to my ankle in January when I made those interval sprinting sessions? I have tried to rehab my ankle lately with many kinds of different programs, but my ankle just gets aggravated. Rest improves things somewhat, but once I start to walk and rehab more the stiffness, mild pain and feeling of "something not being right" in my ankle instantly returns. I'm getting a bit desperate with this situation. What should I do?

I also fractured my lateral malleolus in the way of an avulsion fracture over 3 years ago. I was placed in a walking cast and boot, no surgery, basic PT and was told the inflammation would go away with time.. Well 5 different podiatrists (all with varying opinions), injections, costly orthotics and Im still the same today, no surgery, It went from ankle, to knee, to hip imbalance now all due to muscles tightening from relying on my strong leg too much. I too feel your pain and feel so lost with answers, I work on my feet daily and am very active, I always feel my ankle burning and reminding me of the injury every waking moment. Please let me know if you found a solution. I have all the equipment this video descirbes, however I have been lacking on the home therpay, I am going to dive back into it. Good luck!

@@kaser4886 Its been 6 years and I just deal with the inflammation. The snapping tendon pretty much stopped except with sudden sharp movements I guess scar tissue. I get regular massage work but it still reminds me every single day. I stopped going to specialists. No surgery for me. I just found shoes that work for me. Invest in good athletic shoes it helps but the irritation will always be there for me anyways I just deal with it anymore.

interesting points ,if anyone else wants to discover ankle tendons pain try Jaffacter Sprained Ankle Coach (just google it ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my work buddy got excellent success with it.
