Thank you so much for this great video. I appreciate how well you filmed the actions you took to execute the steps along with giving concise directions. My beloved desktop is now fixed!!! I'm so grateful. I started by cleaning the RAM connections...didn't work still. Then I removed and cleaned the graphics card connection and while I was there also popped out the BIOS battery. When I reconnected everything and turned her back on she seemed to choke turning herself on and off a few times, but then started up and showed the password screen, like a champ. All systems go. 🤩 Thank you!!!

i need help ASAP i just switched from a r5 2600x to a r7 5800x all my other specs are the same (rx580 16gb of ddr4 ram) whem i put the new cpu in the socket my screen goes black and says no display i tried resetting the cmos removed the ram cleaned everything updated the bios and still nothing but when i switch to my old cpu everything is normal HELP ME

4 times I cleaned the connectors on the ram, gpu card,then cleaned the 2032 battery. The signal to the monitors was restored but hours later or the next morning a black screen returned as the pc was started again. This latest fix I replaced the 2032 battery. Signal successfully transmitted. Thanks for a clear instruction.

B4 buying new monitor try it with different monitor and with different cables,that way you can be sure it is monitor problem and not GPU problem.

I have three monitors, I've tried a few of these fixes with both the HDMI and Display port, if I unplug the one monitors power cord then plug it back in, while the PC is powered up then plug it back in the monitor with the black screen will display after a few seconds. This only happens when I fully power down the PC. All the monitors work properly if the PC is only in sleep mode.

I've the same monitor as this 1:17 and when I turn it on, the turned on blue light are there but the analog display in the upper left corner like in 1:17 wasn't there at all and the screen pitch black. Yeah, my monitor definitely kaput.

I have Ryzen 5 5600x with gtx 1050 ti 4gb 4gt on msi b450 vdh max mobo. I was playing games and suddenly the display went off. Monitor is on, cpu is on, everything working fine but there is no display on monitor. I tried every fix I found on youtube but none worked. I usually never comment, but after cleaning my pc I turned on my pc and casual monitor light on, but black screen. Removing RAM and putting it back did the trick for me… not sure why it happened, but there it is😃

Yes, removing the Bios Battery as well, This will also reset the Bios to default settings & you will need to set the Bios Settings to what they were before. Ram, CPU, XMP or DOCP, Secure Boot & TPM settings.

There comes a mysterious voice from my PC's whole metal body and this voice keeps getting higher slowly and then go down slowly and continue doing so. Well a night before my PC was able to run even with this issue but now when I start the PC it dont show the Display and the system continues to turn off and on repeatedly sometimes and sometimes it starts but dont show the display while the system's Fan runs with a very very little voice and power which is not normal AND also my HDD on which the Windows is installed is getting hot along with the built in Intel GPU chip. I have checked the ddr3 ram by changing but this issue is still being faced. Can you plz help me solving this issue ??? Kindly Reply Plz.

I don't know for how long but this method worked for me. I have been having this problem reccuringly and every time I used to reinstall the os but this time I just removed the hdmi and put it in different input. Nothing happened but when I re asserted the hdmi to its old place kt turned on

Update:- Turns out my graphic card was damaged. I had to buy a new graphic card. Now the problem is fixed for sure.

Hey man thank you for a great video, I am a hack so i try everything. I have gone through every step of your instructions however it is still not doing anything. Seems like its sending a signal to monitor cause when i remove the power from the pc it says connection lost. I tried the screen with my laptop it works so that eliminated the cable and monitor fault. I have taken out the RAMs cleaned them also the graphics card. Dam it was a mission trying to get that out. But finally got it out cleaned it, took the battery off in the mean time to reset it. But after all this still nothing. Could it be that the graphics card is fried???? I hope not Its a Geforce RTX cant imagine it to be cheap. What do I do now?

Have you tried the graphics card in another machine? If it doesn't work in that then yes, it is - but they can be repaired.

Unfortunately, I tried all these multiple times still no luck. When I took my system to technician he said it’s a faulty GPU. But then when my computer boots up gpu passes all stress tests easily without an issue. It boots sometimes rarely; 9/10 times I have this black screen or pc stops working in middle with BCOD and says error with GPU drivers. I even uninstalled gpu drivers, installed fresh windows and everything but still no luck, terrified with what the problem might be. Haven’t been able to find the solution on internet yet after going through tons of videos and articles regarding the same.

@@TechLunar i have the same problem, sir. i tried replugging the ram stick into other slots, sometimes my keyboard and mouse lights up then shortly stops completely for a good few seconds before lighting up again and repeating the same thing. Then i tried plugging in different slots, and they light up normally but my monitor is still completely black, no response, not even the no signal pop up. do you think it can be the cable problem with the monitor?
