How To Fix Dodge Durango Remote Not Working

I have a 13 durango and it won't remote start lately.... on instead of the horn beeping twice and starting the horn beeps once and does nothing...I can unlock my doors with the fob and the batteries are pretty new...been bugging me lol... .

Sorry to hear that, does the dash show any engine lights?… because that’s the best place to start by finding the problem then looking for it’s solution…

@@Kiirijay I just tried the remote sitting inside of the vehicle and horned beeped once and on the info center it says remote disabled hood is ajar... I opened and closed it a couple times but it keeps saying the same thing...I had a Hellcat hood put on it last year but never had and issue...I will go WD the cable and latch to see if that works there kinda of stiff...Hate to take it to the Dealer ship lol...its a 2013 with 30,600 its in mint condition but the warranty expired a while ago

@@michaelmcdonald9854 my guess is that it has a sensor for the hood latch, that might be a good place to start, find the sensor, then manually engage the sensor to trick the car into thinking it’s latched, then move on from there
