Is the orbital sander the best to use Iv a normal one square moves up and down and I always get marks When your spraying do you clean the gun out for each coat

Thanks for your comment Gary🙏 I’ve always used a random orbital sander- pneumatic palm sander never have an issue. If I’m using the same gun for paint and clear all I do is run some thinner through the gun before clear. No need to break it down.

When do you recommend hand sanding vs a sander

3re thanks for your comment 👍 I recommend hand standing when is a small area where the sander can't reach. Also if you're not comfortable using the sander. It's less work for me using the sander hence why I take this route.

My buffing always turns out hazy. I use an orbital and have tried a rotational before with better luck. I noticed you are using a rotational. Do you recommend that more for buffing out clear? Thanks for the vids.

The Rotory polisher is the best one to use. It's stronger and more consistent motion. The orbital is more for detailing in other words it's weak. It doesn't have the cutting power to correct sand scratches like the Rotory.
