Fantastic tips! Thanks Dr. Gretchen. Would you consider doing a video on MS and scoliosis? I have a significant curvature and would like to keep it from bothering me too much as I age and if my MS progresses.

Great video always very informative! I have cerebellar ataxia and I've noticed that I have started to drop my hip while I'm walking, will these exercises benefit me or am I too fa gone?

How can I strengthen the knee. I have that very stiffness in my knee it’s like my knee is in a vice. I don’t have a physical therapist anymore so I have to do exercises on my own. I’ve looked at your program but I can’t afford it so I have to do these on my own. I can tell the back of my right leg is very tight because I can’t bend my knee

My gait is normal most of the time. It changes after a while when walking - 2 to 3 km, 20+ minutes - depending on how fast I walk, temperature and hydration. Not sure if hike, drop or swing. I call it limpy. Definitely left foot slap. When I rest, rehydrate, I go back to normal. What kind of exercise would help best? I'm trying to go for longer one way walks when I know I get ride if I tire too much.

Is it possible to have all three and foot drop?

They may present differently depending on what muscles are experiencing tightness/weakness. That is a difficult question to answer without an in-person evaluation though.

My lower side (left) is where I feel pain, all around the illium area front and back, my right side is fine however. I haven't been able to get any help for this and it's really frustrating. Just asking if that's common to feel the pain on the lower side? Also for years i leaned on the left side more when standing, with a straight leg and the right knee bent. Hope that makes sense lol

So I'm at the point of your video where I can kind of raise my knee and bend my knee driving my heel to my back side but my dorsifexion is terrible. Can't point my right foot toes up enough to clear the ground and that bal ways eats my lunch. I follow you here tik tok and now Twitter and I have your book. It's awesome!! I've seen videos on dorsiflexion. Could you point me to which videos you recommend me watch.. ty do much

Great question! I will link a full length exercise class on ankle and knee strengthening here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYC2opqYiJmai6c But also if you use the Search bar on my page and type in "dorsiflexion" several videos pop up that could be beneficial!🧡

I wish I could strengthen my hip flexors but stretching and physical therapy makes it worse. I was in PT (professional PT) for six months and it just got worse.

That’s how I described my situation; one good OT introduced myofascial release to me and it’s been a game changer (I’m hypermobile) also there’s different stretches /passive-static/dynamic /active-static/dynamic that engage muscles differently (passive-static, for me, usually triggers my muscles spasms more than active-static does) Not a cure-all but hope you find things that work for you
