Hi guys, nice videos. I have a question. My iPhone 7, has no service on 4G and 3G only. When I manually select 2G everything is ok. There are different amplifier/antenna for 3/4G?

Hi, good to hear from you, yes the 3G/4G Tx and Rx circuit is different from the 2G's. And when it comes to signal problems, it often related to the RF IC, our recommendation would be: try to replace the RF IC first and see if it goes alright, if it doen't, try to replace high/middle-frequency amplifier then. Hope this will solve your problem :)

There should be class action suit against Apple because these failures seem to be happening after the software updates. And I would not be surprised if they are intentionally bricking the phones.

@@v3rnim_ I got a new sim and transferred my number across to that. It still happened, so I called Apple and ironically the moment I explained the problem to them, it magically resolved. So for me it was new sim and call to Apple.

Class action yea put me on that list I have an l7 and back when all the phones were doing the bi service and i found out it was a bad chip and apple was warren tying them. My phone was taken to them and because someone else replaced my screen they wouldn't warrenty it. Total lack of integrity. My screen change had nothing to do with the faulty chip. I have a stack in iPhones iPad etc but I haven't bought another thing since and I won't support a company with this type of customer abuse. Really sad they use that for an excuse to not be responsible when they are.

Hi, my iPhone 7 had the same issue. The man in the service shop told me that ic needs to be changed ... it did it thrice but my phone was still showing no service. My phone is in really good condition and apple service centre wants to put up a new motherboard... will it work after changing the motherboard.? Please help ❤️😒

@@merlin5686 You can change the motherboard, and you have to change the home button as well, otherwise, you will lose the home button function as the home button is not matched with the new motherboard

Hi, it depends on how large the IC you wanna solder, for example, for bigger IC like the NAND, CPU, you can definitely solder it with the naked eye, but for small ICs, like the charging IC, display IC, audio IC, you will need a microscope to do the job, their solder balls are too small for naked eyes.
