Great info! I had been looking for those no 2. and 3. creaking points. A tip from experience - use felt/soft cable wrapping tape. You can get it in most Home Depot type places. It’s very thin, so will not enlarge gaps (such as between the headunit and dash), but soft enough to eliminate vibration, squeaks between hard surfaces.

Great video. Every now and then I hear some noise from the dash but my biggest annoyance is the door latches in the front rattling. Drives me crazy. I tried stuffing small amounts of tissue between the handle and latch it didn't work for very long

After a recall to replace the fuel pump on my 2018 Lexus RX 450h Hybrid at dealership, I noticed a huge rattle coming from dashboard at speeds above 40mph. This rattle was not there before the above recall fix. Is the fix for this new rattle similar to your fix in this video? Did the dealership loosen something up inside engine compartment or inside dashboard? Or is something that just starts occuring after odometer hits 28,000 miles? Thanks for any help.

This happens in all cars, I have relentlessly gone after squeaks and rattles in my CT with some success. A lot has to do with retaining clips that need felt or masking tape. Easy, but annoying the parts no matter how closely they fit will always rattle. It’s inevitable without felt

I used dielectric compound (silicone grease basically) and put it on all of the points that touch each other.Of course I took the radio out to do this and it cured MOST of the noises.

I've tried foam dowels, insulation, felt and felt tape and I've only been able to get rid of like 80% of the cabin squeaks in my 07 GS. it's driving me completely insane but at least it's mostly buttoned down

that piece of plastic pulls right out if youre gentle, just use a little felt or tape and slide it back in!

Found a one owner car, battery pack replaced 4 years ago from another newer model, 2011 as the owner said and the newer batteries are better that the old ones, don't know if that's true. The parts can be expensive and I am worried about the breakdown rate, since it's a 13 year old car after all. Thanks.

No car brand is perfect. Toyota/Lexus are top tier in terms of mechanical reliability...this rattle noises does not affect the car ability to take you to point A to point B. Some people can live with it. Others like me im going crazy

Somebody cleaned that dash with silicone spray. That's why it is noisy.
