Multiple injuries from head to toe from years of hard labor and lifting heavy equipment. I was barely walking and spasms were intense. Exercise I started in March helped my back and legs a lot. I will say I started touching my toes daily. Last week I was touching my toes and I felt a decent pull in my lower back. I was scared. It’s still a little sore. Hopefully, I’ll be ok. I haven’t tried to touch my toes in a week. I’m going to try again on Tuesday.

I feel your pain. Hang in there. Go slow, stretching can actually do a lot of harm to your back if you are not careful. I would recommend watching my other back pain video too. However, take my information with a grain of salt. I dont know your situation. Just take my information and apply the parts of it to your life that seem most relevant. Keep trying!

@@UpperExtremityEngineers thank you! I’m running out of options. Lost a lot of work due to my injuries already. Failure is not an option. I have no choice like many that watch your channel. No more surgeries or doctors. They don’t understand what we go through. I’ve had too many surgeries to count in my lifetime. I feel like just a number with solutions of pills, surgeries and shots. No more!

Thanks for the great explanation! I've been working in construction for thirteen years and my back is getting sore like you show here but I can't get rid of the pain. It hurts when I bend back, and it hurts mostly in the mornings and even more when I don't exert much. In the background I have celiac disease which I discovered only three years ago and it is possible that I developed a hardening of the lower vertebrae in the spine due to the high inflammation over the years. What do you think, will practicing alone solve it?

Thanks for watching! My first piece of advice is going for a nice little walk in the mornings to prepare you for your day. Have some easy to slide on shoes by the door so you can just get out of bed and start walking. (if you live somewhere where that is possible). Keep your walking short if you have to. The goal is to desensitize your back to pain. Walking is typically a good way to get a little movement in your body without making your pain worse. I doubt practicing bending your back alone will fix you. Although, if done properly it will help. Check out my other back pain video for my advice. Keep doing research and good luck. There is hope for you.

Been having low back paim n sciatica for 6 months. I've tried everything. I'll try this n ddp yoga next. How will my brain stop sending pain signals??
@UpperExtremityEngineers7 күн бұрын
Its not really that you are stopping sending pain signals. Its that you are flooding your brain with movements and sensations that do not hurt. that's why it's not a one size fits all. What hurts me might help you and vice versa. I would recommend you slowly and carefully try some different movement patterns and see what your body responds well to.
