Guys if you dont have smart tv and its on standby mode (red light) and no remote, hold channel up and down buttons on the right hand side of the tv at the same time to turn it on!

Hey there, I've got a TH-55DX600U. When its plugged in I get a green light, flashes really fast then goes red, then off. I push the power switch , same again but then get a slow red flashing light. Voltages are 5.26v. All caps are good. Is it the main board? I unplug the ribbon cable, there's a delay but same happens again. Red flashing. Oh also SRV12v on main board reads 0, both SRV16v on power supply reads 0 & SRV64v reads 0 Only getting the 5v from power SRV5v Any ideas? Cheers

Ive got exact same TV with the exact same problem. I've replaced all of the capacitors on the power supply but this didn't help. I'm going to now check the LEDs inside and see if any have come loose/detached or faulty. I'll keep you posted.

For stand-by voltage you want to set the meter on DC, for measuring a Fuse (to see if it is good and has connections through it still) you can use the centenuity or Ohm (resistance) setting. It’s should be below 1ohm

Having problem with Panasonic TX-42AS520B Red Standby light continues flashing like 2 seconds gap. Had this issue first time like 2 weeks ago when it was not responding to remote and then tried from the power button on TV and first few times it did not worked. It tried to turn on green light flashing then green steady light and then red flashing light again but after few tries it did came on and was working fine untill now it happened again doing same thing. If I press power button on TV it does cone on, sounds is there screen flashing white colour 3 times with 1 or 2 sec gap and after 3rd flash it cutts off continues red flashing light. I have done all the basic like turning off from mains from mintues to hours even over night but still the same. I dont understand why it would start with flashing light when powers been off and when you turn on it should be standby atleast then but no so something its reading faulty even after restarting without trying to turn on. I am very technical minded and gets my hands on anything and not scared of opening and fixing anything and did few TVs as well in the past. Just needs right direction. Is it the power board I am looking or main board. I will be happy if I can fix the current ones if not changing board should fix it. I have got VOLT Meter if it needs checking voltages and Soldering Iron as well some where. Sorry for long message I like writing in details. Any help will be highly appropriated.

Hi, Please can you advise, I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B TV and I have no picture or sound although sometimes I can see the backlights showing behind. When I switch the mains on at the plug the front standby light flashes then goes off and the backlight is on. No display on the TV when I press the remote on/off button puts the tv in standby and if I press the remote once again and attempt to call up the menu screen no picture or sound. Please check the power supply board and this is happening due to incorrect voltage supply from any part. So please recheck all capacitor voltage supply rating and find out the faulty part. @@FIXNETFLIX I checked several capacitors and they all have continuity except one that does not have any other capacitors like it on the board. It is a 450v 100uf 105*c and does not have continuity between its 2 leads.

My Panasonic Plasma TV Model TH-42PV80D (2008 Model) has LED 13 blinks code error. Keeping it on with 13 blinks error for 15-20 mts., and switching power button on in the remote, it brings back the tv to life. But once TV power button is switched off and on again, 13 blink error starts again. When googled, found that 13 blink code is due to communication error in DG Board having IC8001. What component failure would have gone wrong in the board? How to check? In worst case, if the IC8001 is to be replaced, is it available? Appreciate your advice pl. Thanks in advance.

I waz recently given a panasonic tc-p55st30 plasma tv that doesn't work. The guy that gave it to me said it was working before he gave it to me. When i plug it in the red light comes on and stays on. If i touch power button after nothing happens. But if i hold lower button down about 3 seconds the red light goes off. But then it starts blinking. It blinks 14 blinks (approx 10 se onds) then stops blinking about 3 seconds then starts blinking again and keps repeating this 10 seconds blinking - off 3 seconds--repeat. Gday. The power button on the tv and on the remote DO work, all other functions on both the tv and the remote control DO NOT WORK however when pushing any button on the tv remote -the GREEN LED on the tv does flash in response to the remote control,but the tv dose not respond. I have done all the basics battery changes and shutdown restart ECT .LUCKILY we can still watch Foxtel through the tv .

Hi, we bought a new panasonic fx670 android tv one month before. 5 days ago while watching the tv, it suddenly turned off. We tried to turn it on using the power button n all but it is not working. When we switch on tv, the red light is on but when we press the power button in remote or on tv it turns green and the word PANASONIC is displayed on the screen just for a second.
