How to Fix QuickTime Not Installing on Windows 10

This can happen sometimes with the installation process. Inside the QT folder is the installer for the Apple Application Support. Just open it and install. Be sure to reboot your PC afterwards

Off-topic, but important: I need help with SCP DS3 downlaod. I downloaded it, and it worked fine :D. THen I tried to do exactly as your video told me to do when trying to get it to swap triggers. I completely uninstalled the old version, and installed the new version. It didn't work. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, going back to the old version, making sure everything was unblocked, making sure every file was deleted and that the program was uninstalled before I deleted it, restarting my computer, ext... But I can't get the program to work anymore. It will no longer recognize my PS3 controller. Whenever I reinstall or run the program my ps3 starts to blink like it has registered the device it has jacked into is a ps3, waiting for me to press the PS button. When I press the PS button, though, nothing happens :(

That appears to be an error with Microsoft's .NET framework. Do you have all the .NET frameworks up to date? You may need to install 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 version of .NET

Hey everyone, With recent updates to Windows 10, I believe since the 1809 build, this method doesn't work. It does work on older builds of Windows 10 such as 1803. Which is why I'm going to leave the video up. With the newer updates the process is much easier from what I've found. First, you need to download the installer from Apple's support page ( support.apple.com/kb/DL837?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US ) and run the installer in compatibility mode as Windows 7. To do this, right click the installer and go to properties. Next click the 'Compatibility' tab and check the box which says "Run this program in compatiblity mode for:" and select Windows 7 from the drop-down menu. Also, make sure to unblock the downloaded file if the properties window says it's from another computer on the 'General' tab. The installation should proceed as normal. Let me know, if you have any issues!

It's more than likely Apple has shutdown the server that Quicktime on Windows connects to. Which is why it isn't loading the main page any more.

It is safe to download and install

That is due to Apple switching the server off for the homepage of Quicktime long ago. To use Quicktime to watch videos, just right click on the file and 'Open with' Quicktime.

Quicktime on PC is technically a security risk. Due to Apple not supporting or updating it. So, you install it at your own risk. Not many thing need Quicktime anymore. Why do you need it?
