How to Fix Samsung Phone not Turning On - Updated fixes in description

Help, my samsung phone has an error and won't turn on! Don't take it to a repairer and pay a massive bill just yet...try these quick tips that might save your phone first!

The model that I have tried and works is:
Samsung S6 (hold power button and volume up button method)
A30
Start by pressing the Power key for a short while.
When the menu pops up tap Power off twice.
After that enter the passcode and wait for about 5 seconds.
Now you can switch on the smartphone by using the Power button.
A10s
Soft reset:
Press and hold the Volume Down button and don't release it yet.
While holding down the volume button, press and hold the Power key as well.
Keep both keys held down together for 15 seconds or until the Galaxy A10 logo shows on the screen.
Hard reset:
Turn off SAMSUNG GALAXY A10S. Press and hold together : Power Button + Volume Up until Logo appear, then release all button. Please wait until we see the menu at LCD screen, choose Wipe Data/Factory Reset with Volume Button to select and use Power Button to ok or enter.
A70
To reboot the Samsung Galaxy A70, press and hold the power button and the volume down button on the side of the Samsung Galaxy A70 until the screen turns off.
c9 Pro (Factory Reset - will wipe all data)
Volume Up + Home + Power key for a couple of seconds. Release held keys as soon as you can see the Samsung logo. Then select from Recovery Mode menu "wipe data / factory reset" using Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to confirm.
Samsung J8 (Soft reboot)
Hold down the Volume Down Key and the Power Button simultaneously for 7 seconds. Device should restart and display the Samsung logo.
Samsung J7 Pro
Press and hold the Power button (located on the right) until the Phone options screen appears then release.
Note If the device is frozen or unresponsive, remove then re-insert the battery.
Tap Restart.
Tap Restart to confirm.
Note Allow several minutes for the process to complete.
Samsung J7 (forced reboot)
If the device won't power on, plug into the provided wall charger then press and hold the Power + Volume Up buttons for a full 12 seconds.
Note If the device still doesn't power on, press and hold the Power, Volume Up and Volume Down buttons for a full 1-2 minutes.
Press and hold the Power button (located on the right) until the Phone options screen appears then release.
Note If the device is frozen or unresponsive, remove then re-insert the battery.
Tap Restart. Tap Restart to confirm.
Note Allow several minutes for the process to complete.
Samsung J6 (forced reboot)
To force reboot your device, press and hold the Volume down and Power/Lock keys on the device for 10-20 seconds. This performs a simulated battery disconnect.
Samsung J5 (Menu for factory reset)
First, turn off the phone by using the Power key.
Now press and hold together: Volume Up + Home + Power button, until you see Samsung logo.
Samsung ON5 Soft reset
Press and hold the Power and Volume down key for up to 45 seconds.
Wait as the device restarts.
Samsung J4 (Menu for factory reset)
Hold down the Power key for a few seconds to switch off the device. Then start pressing Volume Up and Power buttons together for a couple of seconds. Let go of all buttons when you see the SAMSUNG logo.
Samsung J3 (Menu for factory reset)
Press and hold the Volume up, Home and Power buttons until the Samsung logo appears on the screen.
Samsung J2 (Menu for factory reset)
Press and hold together: Volume Up + Home + Power key for a couple of seconds. You should release held keys when the Samsung Logo appears on the screen.
Samsung J1 Ace
Ensure that the device is powered off.
If the screen is frozen, remove/reinsert battery.
Press and hold the Power+Volume up+Home buttons at the same time. Release the Power button when the phone vibrates. Continue to hold the Volume+Home buttons until the Android logo appears.

Which part of the video have you tried? If you have tried all of them, have you tried charging your phone on a new charger (or a friend's one?) Perhaps your battery is dead?

i tried all of them and my phone is still new ...when i tried my battery with my friends phone it worked and the battery was 78%...when i put charger in my phone it does not even show battery meter

Interesting. Ok, so we've at least established that your battery is ok. So now there are a few different points to troubleshoot. Is your charger charging other phones? If you charge it from the computer, does it work? Is it possible your charging cable is damaged? Is the power button on your phone damaged? (I've seen these happen before and all you can do then is RMA it if it's still new)

my charger works fine , when i connect on the computer it doesn't respond...my phone is still new ...i went to the other guy that fix phones and he told me it is dead and that doesn't make sense

which port did you connect it to from your computer? Try connecting it to the blue usb port. It's possible that your mainboard is faulty....if that's the case, just return it and get a new one...did you order it online or something and it's hard to do? I don't see why you wouldn't just RMA it if it's new.

Depends what type of problem it is. So if it's not a software issue (which this reset fixes) then you might have some other issue like: maybe powerbutton is not pressing the circuits close enough (broken button), battery has run out (new battery needed)...or your internal motherboard is broken (unlikely but happens when ppl drop it in water)
