Hope this helps if your xbox turns on a black screen leave your xbox on for 20 - 30 minutes , after that it should take u to an error screen , and unfortunately the only option is to factory reset your xbox. But look at the bright side you dont have to spend money on a new one Edit: if you get the error code E100 while trying this method it means you have a failed hardware update. Which means you could send your Xbox One for repair or buy a new one.

This worked for me but only after waiting about ten minutes. I did everything you said and the black screen still showed, but out of curiosity I just let it run for a bit before trying again and after about ten minutes the screen popped back to low resolution. See my Xbox a lil different i have to use a remote and position it under my hdmi because the port in my Xbox is lose and my hdmi slips right out so the remote helps balance it but it’s still frustrating to try and get it right I just think I should take it to the shop and see if they can fix it because nun of the KZbin tutorials work

There is a company based in Midland Michigan mall called Roadrunner games. They fixed my no signal issue. It's a common thing with the one x systems. The problem is the HDMI chip built inside the system. After 3 weeks and well worth the wait, my Xbox is perfect. No issues as of late. Trying other methods viewed on KZbin may work for some, but not for others like me.

This completely fixed the problem. That's crazy. My tv looked like static. I knew it shouldn't be doing that because when I initially started my Xbox, I saw the green loading startup screen completely normal without any static, then got to the Home Screen and it blacked out for a sec and came back as static so bad. I tried switching cables, switching the ends and nothing worked. I did the method where you hold down the eject button and power button and it did start in lowest quality mode. Then I was able to change the resolution and it looked perfect, like it's supposed to. Thank you because I searched on KZbin and online and couldn't find any useful information. You're the best! ❤

No not yet. If I leave it sit a long time it come up to a screen with an error code. And says reset or update. I texted clicking factory reset but it does nothing when you click it. I'm probably going to send it in since its still under warranty
