After a few days of Lower Back Pain I could barely bend forward the slightest bit. Found this and did the exercises. Then I could bend forward and down as well, immediately! Later in the day I went to see my GP about the pain and told him how much difference these stretches had made after one try out. As I took out my phone to show him the site a couple of receipts fell out onto the floor - and without a thought I bent down and picked them up. My doc was speechless as I'd just told him I couln't bend at all that morning - but also that these stretches had made so much difference. I’m a 73 yo male, my back pain has steadily increased starting a year ago, I had no back pain at that time. I’ve been doing these exercises for several days. Immediately after each session my pain is worse than just before the session. How many days should it take to start feeling less pain? I have relatives who are my age plus or minus two years, none have back pain. Typically, only people who have success comment, people like me don’t. All comments welcome.

You should try foam rolling exercises, I’m not credible or anything but I went to physical therapy for my back and they had me do that for back mobility and it helped me feel so much relief (although it’s very painful while doing it).

I'm in tears right now! Tears of joy! It is 4:30 in the morning and I've been up for 3 hours with my back. I have degenerative disc disease, neuropathy, sciatica, severe nerve damage in my back and my lower back pain is excruciating! I did a couple of these exercises and I'm standing up straight! The pain has eased and I'm not stiff anymore. I could not do them exactly as he did as it's hard to get one leg to cross over the other for me (exercise #2. That was a struggle to cross my leg over the other one as easy as he did but I did it) and they're working already! I don't believe this! Thank you so much for this video!

Woke up this xmas morning with this lower back pain. This vid saved the day. This Dr. ROWE is a lifesaver!!! The 2nd demo here wiped out the pain in about 20 min. Thank you so much! I have been suffering with extreme 'Low Back Pain' for years! I am 82 yrs old now and I'm a little over weight so these excercises are kind of 'Difficult' for me at this time but I'm going to keep at it. Hi Dr Rowe from the UK I am so happy that I found you and by adapting the tennis ball exercise just a little I am now out of pain . I have had lower right back pain , just above the pelvic bone for years . I am a driving instructor and jump over speed bumps at 20 mph all day every day . I am mostly sitting down having my spine jarred in a very unnatural way . I didn’t have a tennis ball so laid on my back , knees up , feet flat on the bed . I then put my two fists under my lifted buttocks . I then rested on my fists and rolled from side to side . My spine instantly popped and I walked to the end of the bed on my buttocks , stood up and was out of pain . Many thanks and God Bless You Much Love J.Alison

I notice that pre-COVID when I exercised at the gym, I did many of these exercises and did not suffer any back pain. I'm in my early 50s and have been in a crippling lower back pain episode the last 2 days. Could barely walk in slow motion, holding onto things to stand up, browsing for crutches on eBay, etc. Have been doing some other exercises which helped a little but this is apparently exactly what I needed. I did all the steps in sequence and things really loosened up and popped on those scorpion moves. Was able to do the exercises at the end including being able to bend backwards (arms straight, pelvis on floor). No way in hell I could have bent like that an hour ago. Was even able to do the straight leg exercises and bridges at the end. Liked, subscribed, added to a playlist and going to do these stretches and strength building exercises daily to build a super strong lower back. I ride sport touring motorcycles for daily transportation and want to keep doing that for a long time. Thank you for sharing this great info!

I'm 34 years old (male). I've been suffering terrible back pain for 2 years. I went to see at least 3 doctors including the chiropractors. I had X-ray for my back too. They all said that I just need to do exercises which they instructed me. But my back pain never gone away although sometimes it reduces the pain. I am suffering it these days (very terrible). I wonder why it has never gone away though I do exercise every day. Almost every day, If I do not play volleyball or Basketball, I will do jogging. But still my back is so painful this time. I will try to follow your suggestion consistently from now. Hope my pack pain will go away. Thank you.

After faulty deadlift struggled with lower back pain for about a month. Exercise at 3:20 (and standing version) made the whole thing go away in a couple of days! Thank you!

I helped my friends mom move a few months ago and carried a heavy chest down a flight of stairs (dumb). I usually have occasional lower back ache but since then I found myself having trouble getting out of the couch and standing straight up; I start walking like an old man (even the grunts). At 28, that's not good. I've been doing these every morning for about a week and I've noticed a massive change. Thank you for your professional input!

Update! I did these exercises and I’m thrilled to report that they worked. After 1 week of doing these exercises, I’m working on redoing an interlock walkway (do you have any idea how many times I have to squat and stand up, a lot). I was seriously thinking of going in for a total body adjustment prior to your exercises, but thanks to these key exercises I’m feeling great. I’m very grateful for your video, thank you. I hope you get extra KZbin points for a long comment...lol ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I got lower back sprain all of sudden & it was quite bad. Tried this exercise & it worked for me. Part 2 of exercise helped me a lot where I felt the pop & crack and was relieved. Thanks Dr :)

This worked! I am 40 plus yo, and have occasional lower back pains when I suddenly get up from my seat. It was so painful that I struggled standing up and walking straight. Found this video after I just had another bout of back pain few days ago. Did the first stretch immediately and the pain subsided by the next day without needing to go to a chiropractor. Miracle exercise! Thanks!

I bought an inversion table 2 years ago, and use it 3 times a week. I've never actually even had to go 180 degrees upside down. Just enough to feel the pull on the lower spine area. All of his exercises are perfect too. Foam rolling BEFORE doing these will help blood flow to the muscles and get your back warmed up for the twisting.

These stretches help me so much. I have been doing things wrong for so long. I have so much tightness in my back. Chiro, old way of stretching, advil, have been hardly helping. This video may of changed my life. Thank you.

It didn't heal right away but with this one round stretching and exercise. I can sit and walk with less pain right now. Hope it can fix the pain by continuing the exercise. Thank you for this.

I’ve had terrible lower back problems from installing floors almost to the point of walking away from the trade. I tried this out of desperation and I was shocked how well it worked. All the years of suffering I put up with. It’s been a year now of me doing these stretches when I feel my back tightening up and then I’m right back on track. Thanks for sharing this video

Mate, your a life saver. I’ve had lower back pain for the last few weeks. I noticed that every time I woke in the morning or go up from sitting down it was a full ache. I noticed too, when I started walking or exercising the pain would go. Anyways I did this video thoroughly and boom, the pain gone. Thx so much for your time and knowledge.

My doctor told me to start stretching for my back pain a year ago. Since then I’ve been feeling much better and walk over 10,000 steps a day, which I couldn’t before.

@@DrRowe I did 10 sets of 2 of the exercises this morning before I got up from bed, and they helped reduce the pain. My low back was quite inflamed overnight. I'm going to do 10 sets of the bridges later today and also test the other exercises. I'm thankful to you and for what you're sharing.

Dr. Rowe I have had back pain in my left torso & hip for about a week now. I tried all your exercises on your video and got instant pain relief. I work out daily which helps my bad lower back I have had for many years probably attributed to golf? Not quite sure but I believe a lot of my back pain maybe coming from very tight muscles in the hip & pelvis area which has led to little mobility. Muscle strains seem to be a common problem for me playing golf and have been trying hard to find a cure for years? Your stretching videos sure seem to help. Great work!
