You are a natural born teacher. I say this because I'm also a teacher. I watched a few tutorials and couldn't get the hang of it until I saw yours! Then I understood. Some of the comments of your audience were disrespectful, but just know that every classroom has a couple of bullies who enjoy ridiculing people for the the way they talk or the way they look. You are doing an excellent job and remember that teaching serves a noble cause!

I would say it would be good to seal that. Water will get into this shoe easily. It would be good to put some glue or other substance into or over the needle holes .
