It depends on the person, I did this (eat before bed) for a while because I'd come home late from the gym and work and I'd just wake up with massive heart burn. So I had to adjust when I went to the gym and ate dinner. But if it works for you that's great! Just letting others know it's not a one size fits all.

Another Tip that I discovered myself: It actually doesn’t matter when you fall asleep in the first few days trying to improve your sleep. Wake up in a certain time every day for a week (for example 6pm) and you will notice that you fall asleep much earlier because your much more tired. I can show you my progress as an example (I noted down the time when I woke up and roughly felt asleep) 1.Day= Felt asleep: 2:00 Woke up: 6:00 2.Day= Felt asleep: 1:30 ish Woke up: 6:00 3.Day= Felt asleep: 0:00 Woke up : 6:00 4.Day= Felt asleep: 22:30-23:00 ish Woke up: 5:30 5.Day= Felt asleep: 22:00 Woke up: 5:30 6. Day= Felt asleep: 21:30 ish Woke up: 5:30 7.Day= Felt asleep: 21:30 Woke up:5:30 What is important to mention is that I tried to do at least 1/2H of Cardio every day, as well as lift weights with tryin to hit a PR as much as I could. I prepare my self before I sleep. I usually meditate for 15min to relax my souls and body and also pray. Next I write everything down that happend that day, what I liked and what bothered me. At next, I walk in circles in my room for 30min or so to think. Just straight up think about everything that comes in my mind. It’s something that I did since I was a child. I can only think good when I’m walking, even if I study (that’s also a really good way to get abnormes calves😅) something that I always thing about is myself in his peak, mentally, physically and really wealthy . That’s also what gives me big motivation man. After these 30min ish my calves start to hurt a lot and that’s also the time where I’m ready to drop dead on the bed and sleep. (I’m literally walking my way into sleep lol). Don’t forget that slepp posture is as important as day to day life posture. I personally slepp without a pillow on my back to keep my back straight. That’s my experience with sleeping, I’m going to do this the rest of my live, wish me succes and luck!

I too believe that I couldn't sleep before 11pm, then couldn't sleep before 12am, then before 1am, going around the clock. Because it's wasn't also natural for me. Well do you have a cure for a circadian disorder then? Do you specialize in chronobiology or circadian rhythm disorders? Everything Hamza talk in this video didn't help. I'm not sure if circadian rhythm disorder and chronobiology is his speciality. I believe I suffer from non-24 sleep-wake disorder which I can't do anything about it because it's a chronobiology disorder and a neurological disorder. It's not a psychological disorder! I spend 8-9 hours in bed everyday (tried good sleep hygiene but didn't work) too but sleep and wake up one hour later, and sleep around the clock. I'm convinced that I have to live with this because my internal body clock won't budge.

Summary: 1. Make sure you deserve sleep (Work, Gym, Do not waste time) a. If you have energy at the night → you did not spend it through the day b. Train and work harder 2. You can use devices before bed as long as: a. You set low brightness and blue light filter b. Do not look at anything that will psychologically trigger you (such as social media) 3. Reading puts you asleep fantastically (you can use devices for that) 4. The perfect temperature (16-18 degrees Celsius) a. Save money for temperature regulative mattress 5. Go to bed at the same time every night (consistency is the key) 6. Make a sleep routine that you can follow every single day for the rest of your life (Even in the weekends) 7. As soon as you wake up, get sunlight (balcony, garden, take a walk) a. (Even if it is a rainy or cloudy day) b. Look at a brighter part of the sky 8. Do the same with the sunset a. See the sun going down b. Avoid windows as much as you can Your welcome

bro i am 12 and i have been struggling with sleep for a year now and i know u mention sleep is important and it is because it literally changed my mindset and energy into more negative and i did some really dumb stuff because I could not think and I was so weird around girls especially and I made them uncomfortable because before i slept i watched really bad tik tok trends and it was like the "sus" tik tokers and all that. Now i reduced my tik tok time I am tryign to get rid of it and I also have improved my sleeping but I havent mastered it yet. Also I used to watch those tik toks that said "people who sleep late and wake up early are dangerous" and it made me feel good about myself when I was a jeffrey and Now I dont want to face the pain of regret I just want to fix myself. But the only problem I dont like is that you completely changed your videos to cartoon and anime i just want to listen and watch you eye to eye but i understand that you are making it flashy and interesting for high dopmaine so you can make money in the same time you help others ebcause our attention span. As practicing muslims we all have a fixed schedule for waking up. However, its not 'fixed' in the sense you may be thinking. We wake up before sunrise; so depending where you are and which season it is, it can range from 3 am to 7 am, generally. However for most people living semi-near the equator its for the most part between 5-7 am. I personally have found that I all i need to do is to sleep at a time between 9 pm to 11 pm and I end up waking up at worst right before the sun has fully risen without an alarm. Best case is right before dawn because thats when we can pray extra credit night prayer and then the madatory dawn prayer. Also its a major sin to miss our five daily prayers so a muslim who has locked down the fundamentals of his/her religion will rarely ever miss a dawn prayer in a year due to laziness. Some might think this is extreme and way too fixed, however as Muslims we have principles and one of the principels is a continuous connection with our Creator. Once that bedrock is removed along with it's discipline then everything starts to slowly slip away in life. I urge anyone to reflect on it and I am kind of thankful and more appreciative of the practice now that I see so many people lacking basic structure or mindful meditation in their lives.

Nope tried all these. Didn't work. I have a non-24 sleep-wake disorder. It's a circadian rhythm disorder. I sleep all around the clock. I tried having good sleep hygiene and all the advice you gave but didn't work. 5:28 Nope. I tried do this as someone with non-24 but my sleeping schedule won't budge but my internal body clock are messed up! There is nothing I could really do about it except follow my sleeping schedule that my body clock says. 5:50 I can't! Again, I sleep around the clock.

Woke up at 5am for ten months straight. Ever since I reverted back to 7am, I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night. Last night, however, I slept 7.25 hours straight. Felt amazing

You know, id love having sunlight. But unfortunately I live in fucking Sweden, from October to March or April, the sun goes up at 8-9am and goes down at 3-4pm, so I can’t get that goddamned sunlight. But in the summers this works fantastically for me and I find myself feeling more effective and awake because of it.

3. Nope. I actually wake up one hour later everyday. 4. Mental health irrelevant. I have non-24 sleep-wake disorder and this is a chronobiology and a circadian rhythm issue.

Guys I got a question someone please answer. You know how hamza said as soon as you wake up, get sunlight immediately. What if you wake up before the sun rises? so it’s still dark. Because I’m planning to wake up for sunrise.

I wake up at 12:30 , eat breakfast and head to the gym by 1am. Have the machines to myself and I exercise until 5:30, then I spend time with my grandfather who is my role model and am at my labor job by 6:45. My day ends at 3:30 where I head home, eat dinner and am in bed by 4. I'm turning 30 this year and I feel like I have more energy than when I was in my early 20's.
