Thank you very much! My grandfather used to quickly go make roses for my grandma on the days he had forgotten her birthday. My girlfriend loves tulips so I think this will be a very sentimental piece for the both of us.

I don’t know if you ever check these but I am just getting started blacksmithing and you are so inspiring. I am 16 and have no talent drawing. If you could, would you please put up a template for the petals? I love all of your videos, keep ‘em coming!

Roy, great job. I want to try one of these for a anniversary gift next month. Could you post a PDF template or pattern for the tulip?
@billwoehl30514 жыл бұрын
Roy, I hope you have a better standard to metric converter now, 1/2" is very close to 13mm rather than the 12mm. Think wrenches and sockets, makes it easier for anything under an inch for conversion.

I checked out the links that you provided, I can not find the one for the tulip. Could you provide some clarification on this? Of provide the measurements of the one you use? ( diameter and maybe petal tip width)
@wolfiepower81033 жыл бұрын
Hi, nice vid thanks. What do you mean by painting the tulip. Surley that means you wil be covering the metal and wont see the colouring you have added. Obviously your not doing that. How are you treating it? thanks.

Great project. Going to try it, but Paint? Bees wax maybe? Do the plasma cut edges take care of them selves or do you do a little tapering of the edges with a hammer to thin?

Roy, would you mind sharing your source for the tulip blanks? I've looked around and have found several vendors offering blanks for other flowers but not tulips. Thanks.
