You just melt the butter in the pan and put the halloumi in until it’s a nice colour while putting the lemon on x
@RandyDraytonАй бұрын
Ok so when cooking alone do you recite the recipe and cooking process to yourself out loud? 😂 Cooking is a non-verbal activity. I prefer no words. Terminology is great but practical application is better

Grilled halloumi is even better, plus fresh tomatoes/ cucumbers and olives its a delicious Mediterranean combination :)

Buy the Mexican queso fresco cheese. Fry it with butter or olive oil and its not salty.
@Lana-ut5cd3 жыл бұрын
The cheese they’re using is halloumi cheese (it could be salty so soak it in water). Here they used butter but u can use olive oil too. And I’d say medium low heat.

That's a simple farmer's cheese. Light in flavour. The flavour of grilled haloumi is immense. It's salty yet a full mouth flavour and the texture is uniquely stiff and squeaky on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside... I'm salivating just describing it to you sorry 🤤

Can you do this with fresh mozzarella?
@deniatorres9616 жыл бұрын
FJ Lizama no
@asupremum12466 жыл бұрын
You can only do this with cheese that has a high melting point. Other popular choices for this are paneer, and Queso Blanco. With Queso blanco you have to get the variety for slicing and frying not the crumbly variety.
