Everyone should watch ALL Cesar's videos and learn from him BEFORE getting a dog. Everyone, in every county in every Country needs Cesar. Too many animals are abused, stuck in a crate or outdoors, because of stupid or ignorant humans. Thank you to those that rescue dogs. 🙏 ❤

They're too poor to take care of themselves, let alone wild dogs, which multiply because no one is fixing them. When you live in poverty, you kind of become numb to the suffering around you.
@XAdaLgi3 ай бұрын
@jillwklausen Yes but what's to stop them from finding other places that will take the dog? Why let it get to the state where they starve and neglected in the streets. There are shelters for dogs...take them there instead of letting them suffer needlessly
@XAdaLgi3 ай бұрын
@jillwklausen poverty can be classed in lots of ways. If u talking about feeding ur kids before u feed urself, I am there but I make sure my kids and my animal eat before myself. Yes I learned to numb my hunger. As long as the bills are paid and everybody eat, I did my job. When they got the dog it should have been their job to make sure it will go to a place that it will be looked after, even if its with them or the shelter

@@XAdaLgi, I'm afraid there aren't shelters for dogs everywhere. So many of these dogs are sick and can be dangerous to approach. You can't judge everybody by a wealthy society's standards.

We brought one back home with us from Isla Mujeres, Mexico. These dogs have been through so much and are the most beautiful and amazing souls. I am so grateful to have gained our El Secreto’s trust, love and friendship. He had a beautiful 14 years with us here in New England ❤️❤️❤️

One of my proudest achievements in life was starting the first animal rescue in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, when I lived there in 1993-94. I organized several veterinarians to agree to do very low-cost spays and neuters ($20 at the time) and to find homes for the dogs and cats we rescued. We had a 100% placement rate. I recruited a group of locals to join me, and others brought in people as well. We called ourselves Grupo Promotor Pro Derecho Y Respeto A Los Animales A.C. We then got merchants to donate gifts and gift certificates, and held a huge auction fundraiser on the Malecón to go toward building a shelter. One of the newly recruited members worked with the government to get land donated to build a shelter, and within just a few short years, it was up and operational. Unfortunately I had moved to California before I could see it built, but just knowing it's there fills my heart with immense pride and joy.

Wow what a huge hearts these women have! They have such compassion and see the beauty in each dog out there. Little Wednesday is adorable. Even through the many injuries and wounds you could see a little one who just wants someone to love and share her love with someone. These dogs have so far to go they have to recover from their injuries and health problems but also the huge emotional issues that they face. Some simply don’t make it. Bravo to these strong wonderful women who give of themselves so freely to help get ove more dog off the street! Applaud applaud applaud. If anyone can adopt one of the little ones please do but before you do know that you have your own work cut out for you too. The dogs need so much just getting them use to living in a safe and loving home will be a huge adjustment that many may not be ready for so be ever so patient with them. We know they have gone through a tragic background but with time they hopefully will heal emotionally too. All this is truly a scary process for them. I pray all find homes and they are lucky enough to find these ladies who want to help them. Thank you for all that you do Cesar and to these rescuers. Cesar it was nice that you shared the story of the hardship dogs live through in Mexico. It’s heartbreaking but great to know at least one dog is off the street today! Great work and thank you to all thst made this happen. Wednesday had such a beautiful little face I l’m sure she will find her forever home. ❤

My heart bleeds for all the street dogs. 3 weeks ago I got my adopted street dog home from Spain myself, and you can't help but wonder what he's been through. Afraid of people, afraid of sounds, afraid of touch, afraid of everything. But still a desire to be petted and loved. I live in Sweden, in the country with a big garden and Banjo, the dog's name, just loves to run here. He is 6 years old, and every day you see big changes to a happier and safer dog. He is a real fun guy and we fight every day. Thanks for all your videos and advice. They have helped me and all my dogs for many years.

It is so sad that humanity can allow this to happen in this day and age! Cesar and his family's commitment is commendable, but more should be done from a government point of view. The fantastic organisations all around the world. THESE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING! Showing compassion and trust. Also I wish more Vets did free evaluations and treatment for our beloved best friends. This puts me in mind of what they do in India for the dogs and cattle too. The dogs are just roaming the streets and get hit by cars or get some awful disease and are just left there on the streets. There is a place run by Americans called Animals India (or something like that) they found and picked by staff and taken back to the compound and vetted very well, by staff and vets. Looked after like royalty and with such kindness. Left with Indian ladies to love on them and do everything for them. I think the people that own the place are wealthy Americans. The dogs live on the streets and that is just that. But the kindness of the group seem to look after them and hunt them down to look at their health continually. A place like that would be wonderful there.

I would bring flea powder ( in my young mind , something was better than nothing .Once found a dog who had a litter of pups ..I couldn't find them ... when I saw what somebody had done ( wedged the water basin I had brought for water,at the mouth of their den) I was stunned 😢, luckily they were ok once I could get the entrance clear again .The mother dog trusted me enough , in fact , she led me to the spot .....I may have commented about this before , if so , Sorry - just had such a profound impact on me .The cruelty shown to animals all over the world --pretty shameful for us humans .
