I have a dog that is approaching 13 years and I told her she had to live to be at least 20. I don't know how anyone could give up a 16-year-old dog that really has a simple fix. And if they had neutered him when he was young, he would never would have had testicular cancer.

I have a 12 yo Pittie I adopted in June. He used to sleeo on the ground, year round. Freezing Winters, Boiling Summers. I brought him home. He has shade in the summer, and 3 places to sleep. Comes inside when it rains. First time I brought him in, he was right on top of my bed 😂😂😂, wagging his tail and smiling. He plays, guards, is a good example for the other 5 dogs.

It's been a long time since one of these rescue videos choked me up, but for some reason Henry's story really got to me. I think dog abandonment is a special kind of cruelty, but abandoning a senior dog is the absolute worst. @patirvin-bz9pg ? what are you even talking about?? calling people 'defective' because they simply (most likely) couldnt afford treatment for a dog thats 16 years old and will possibly not live very long is 'defective' as you call it.

@@shilohwiseman his former family could have made a "hospice" situation for him. In other words keep him pain free but no extraordinary treatment. I have 2 senior dogs- 13 and 14. For someone to abandon their dog because they got sick is pathetic. That family does not deserve the love of a dog. Most of the time I think that humans don't deserve dogs. But I watch something like this and think maybe SOME of us do. Humans should work harder to live up to their dog's love.
