@@JayDee-ve6ml IDK, the prices change almost daily. My washer had more problems than I thought. Decent run of 22 years. There seemed to be a broken "pawl" or "dog" in the transmission and the tub would not spin. Too much trouble for me to tackle, no parts available for innards, so had to get the dumbest washer I could find ( Hotpoint - which is made by the same company as GE, and about 3 or 4 other more expensive nameplates) to avoid a boatload of computer boards to burn up or break.

My GE washer clutch doesn't have a clip and I tried pushing clutch down to remove it but didn't work. How can I remove the clutch please help?

I’m replacing just the clip at the bottom and I cannot get it on there for the life of me. It looks just like that one so I don’t think it’s the wrong part.

If you can provide the model number of your washer we can verify that the clip you are looking at is indeed the correct one for you.

Everyone of these I've purchased has arrived split at the pulley and hub and while motor spins only the hub does also, pulley/belt/tub do not. That isn't normal is it?

I saw on another video that some guy said the cheap ones were defective. So you might have gotten a defective part.

How do you remove a clutch that's stuck? Can I put WD40 on it?

If you are trying to remove the clutch you can try some WD40 or if you have rust buster you can spray some of that on it and let it sit for a bit and see if that would help remove it.

​@@appliancepartsprosthank you for replying. I took a crowbar to it and it popped off. It was definitely rust. Do you have any videos showing how to recondition a clutch that's not that bad? Your website shows that they're out of stock. Where do you recommend I buy one from thats well made? I ask because I've seen a few videos where people have said they bought cheap clutches that split in the middle or didn't turn properly that happened to be made in China. I'm trying to avoid the defects that are being resold.
