I had a crash after the 1st tortoise, and I couldn’t see the 2nd or third. I ended up getting it by repeatedly jumping into the air until I hit the flying turtle by chance. So I confident in saying it’s just a visual glitch. and as for only needing 2/3 I think the one on the lower plateau, reloading gives it a chance to just fall through the ground as I had lots or rabbits fall through the ground when I was running around after reloading.

For anyone having trouble getting the gesture there is a second key in the academy starting from the debate parlor go up the broken star case and keep left till you jump of the railing near the short cut then keep keep left again and jump over the railing to be on the roof tops keep exploring till you enter a building with shandeliers there you will find the key and two other glintstone head pieces that give nice boots to magic.

ALSO Take erudition to the Converted tower, just to the southwest of the Raya Academy. Use it in front of the statue and a ladder will appear behind it. Go up the ladder and open the chest for another memory stone!

There’s a comment in here somewhere that explains brilliantly where to find it dude. When I went and collected it and then spoke to him, the next dialogue/emote popped up immediately for me 👍🏻

For the first spell, you guys mentioned the wrong site of grace. Instead, it is Frenzied Flame Village Outskirts that is the closest, from there go east around the cliff and you arrive at your location.

For the ghost tortoise "bug" generally just speaking with the statue that starts the riddle will respawn the turtles if you happen to travel/die while looking for them.

I'd love to see those spells demonstrated against proper opponents. Birds and starting area foes don't really show what the spells are capable of and whether they're actually worth getting. Like when you deleted that dragon with the laser beam, that was an awesome demonstration!

Only lv 100 here, 40 points into INT going for DMGS spellblade build, so maybe a difference in perspective, but doesn't that mentality only make the open world experience less fun for you? Trying to mix max the DPS per FP spent and only using glintstone shard (not saying you do this, just an extreme example of frugal spell/FP use) seems like such a pointless thing to do when you can just, y'know, use what seems fun or cool? Also, you get an estus back after killing like 5 enemies so I don't think mana is that big of a problem.

Correction to the path for the hammer and cannon spell, the closest site is the church of inhibition, just a little bit south and barely west, it's directly west of the frenzy flaming tower and is a straight path to the spell, although it is a less likely to be had site of grace

I got Rannis Dark Moon with 1 turtle, the one by the tower killed. I was teleporting and had the pop up that it opened right after killing one of the minibosses at the ruins on that plateau

if you cannot get the turttles to spawn, make sure the time of day is set to night. they only appear at night, and the moonlight alter makes things look night, but time still passes.

ngl, probably my favorite spell so far is the one you get from fighting the dragon from ranni's questline, that frost wave is broken, multi hit, crazy. I still keep normal greatsword as the initial hit w/o the wave does pretty much the same damage.

I had the turtle bug and how i fixed it was to rest at the grace that tells you to find the beasts, set time to night and speak to the goblin again then the turtles respawned

I've been finding against bigger targets if I give them just the tip they take more damage. Don't know if it's meant to work that way, but it absolutely annihilated the Fia quest line boss

Best part about moonblade is if you swing it at just the right range it double taps enemies with the blade and frostwave. If you're too close the frost wave won't hit, too far and only the frost wave hits. Feels good to have a bit of a skillshot mixed in there.

Just putting this out there, ranni's dark moon reduces the magic resistances of enemies by 30% rather than the 10% of rennala's , big upgrade there.

Rennala's moon should be a 2 second freezing stun instead of a debuff. It would be lovely if it's able to differentiate itself from Ranni's moon! It would never hit in PvP because it's so slow, but if it does they are dead. Maybe would not work on all bosses, but still would be super fun! ❄🌝❄

Aye highkey, a better starting class for magic is actually prisoner the glintstone blade spell Is so good for bosses and regular mobs especially once you get the hang of charging some and then tapping afterwards so they fire roughly the same time and then stun lock your target, you can also target any number of enemies with them

Rennala's is better for pure damage per cast. Ranni's does do frost, but unlike other frost spells, it does very minor damage on the initial hit.

The turtle is not bugged, rather it died offscreen, Don't know what it is but thing somtime randomly die offscreen! Might be due to fall damage calculation cause some things only load when you look at them or are close enought.

If you're properly specced for sorcery they do incredible damage and have really good range. I can spam 3 moons per FP bar and they do thousands of damage each. They also debuff the target's magic resistance and so are a great opener versus enemies with magic resistance.

Mage main here. Man Ill tell ya Stars of ruin and Rannis Dark Moon legendary spells STOMPS. Both of these spells are so Freaking strong and Good. Adulas Greatsword spell (the frost one) is also Absolutely amazing. My spell loadout is Glintsone Pebble,glintstone Arc,Icecrag Shard (does good damage and frost is amazing in this game),Lorrettas mastery,Adulas Greatsword,Stars Of Ruin Annndd Rannis Dark Moon. This loadout requires heavy int and Mind investment but its SOOO good, its good for pretty much any situation and Trivilizes most the game. Best Staff out of em all imho is The Boss soul staff from Rennala the Carrion Regal Staff. Its an Absolute monster at +10 and while a bit less damage then Lusats Staff it is close enough in damage and allows for alot more spells to be cast as Lusats consums extra FP.

@@zacharyjackson1829 carrion regal staff is a Special boss staff. Goes to +10. But yes It obliterates the Meteorite staff End game wise when ya upgrade it. The ONLY staff that outdamages The Regal staff is Lusats and its not by a Ton, however Carrion Regal you can cast alot more spells for 2nf highest damage of the staffs in the game so it kina beats out Lusats in that regard, kinda Similar to the whole Logans Staff Vs Crystal Staff in DS. Both top tier But ones better for prolonged use and other for Quick burst of damage but you prob get more Damage overall in total with Logans (4 crystal soul spears dealing 900 damage each will outdamage 2 crystal soul spears dealing 1100 each) Same applies to Carrion Regal Vs Lusats. Meteorite cant be upgraded so it legit cant contend in no way shape or form to those two staffs end game wise when You have them lvled up

Great video and just a heads up on the turtle puzzle the 1st one was there, the 2nd wasn't there and then I went to the wind tunnel and the 3rd wasn't in the sky so I fast traveled back to the temple then went back to the 2nd site and the turtle was there. I killed it and it opened the gate with just 2 turtles

Adula's moon blade is everything a spell blade has ever asked for! God I love this game. The gravity spells too SO dam cool. They do huge stagger damage and the fact that nobody expects a wizard to PULL YOU IN is just great for pvp. Also it gravity spells STUN flying enemies FUCK THOSE BIRDS and BATS!

Awesome video. I'm almost level 150 and I had no idea about these spells. I was getting really bored of my current spell lineup, so I found this at the perfect time. Really like this video because in addition to these spells being a bit more rare and hard to find, they're all really good and useful spells that I've been using a ton, particularly Gavel of Haima.

Ranni's dark moon also decreases enemy magic resistance by 30% if it hits and draws in other enemy spells and cancels it as it flies. Thats in addition to the magic/frost damage that can be further boosted by a hat and staff you get from the questline/2nd boss.

It's part of the quest line. First encounter with the dragon he dips. When u get further to the new location he spawns and h can kill him. But you have to proceed with her long quest line.

Hey ,am love your videos. I just got this killer weapon called wing of astel. For aoe it is amazing. It’s dex and magic based. It also has an amazing spinny magic heavy attack. I was using the moon veil but this other weapon is so much fun;I do)t think it’s better then moon viel but i have not leveled it. Have you checked it out yet?

wing of astel is amazing. I personally find the moonveil to be very boring, plus the R2 attack having a zero FP magic projectile that can hit in addition to the blade attack it’s incredibly strong. the ash of war absolutely melts large bosses and is very powerful for zoning in PvP and PvE

So, how does the Carian Grandeur AOW compare to the Carian Knight's sword that already has the Carian Grandeur special attack? Is there any benefit to applying the AOW to a standard weapon and then leveling it vs just getting the Carian Knight's sword and leveling that?

I only found the first tortoise hanging in the cliff. The other 2 didn't spawn. I jumped the stream and apparently killed the flying one. However, I got no animation at all. I couldn't even see it flying before jumping.
