The secret to getting ahead is getting started.
You want to get ahead of 99% of people, but you're feeling behind in life and overwhelmed with information-overload. You've heard you should wake up early, drink a green juice, and meditate every day, but all you want is a simple step-by-step framework for how to make positive change so that you can not only stop feeling behind in life, but you can get ahead of 99% of people.

Excellent analysis of how to accomplish what you want. I adapted your system of planning (life, year, quarter, month, etc.), and can give your approach an unqualified recommendation to people who want to move from "I really want to do this" to "wow, I'm actually accomplishing it!"

Love how you actually calculated what the top 1% is, that's refreshing! And the RMB framework is useful too.

Realistic daily trackable discipline is the foundation (first things first) to personal growth. This would be things like making your bed every morning. Exercising for 10 minutes everyday. Walking every morning. This builds confidence and sets up the cascading effect.

hi alexis!!! i love your content and have been following along to create systems that support my journey to achieving my goals. i’m struggling with applying a to-do list to a calendar because i have ADHD and time blindness. i know that i can use time-tracking for the tasks i do everyday like washing my face, brushing my teeth, etc. but i don’t know what to do when, for example, i have an assignment due in a class. i have to plan that and put it on my calendar, but i have no idea how long that will take for me to complete. what do i do in that situation? TYIA, i appreciate you and your videos so much. they’re really helping me change my life AND finally learn to manage my ADHD symptoms!!!

Not sure if you figured out a system that works for you yet, but what I would do if it were me and I didn't know how long something was going to take, is I would schedule chunks of time to work on it and then track how long it took. So for example you could schedule two hours a day every weekday to studying until all of your assignments are done and then see how much time you have left. Or if you're still not done with your assignments and you need more time, then you can add time on the weekend (you may need to reschedule some things and that's ok). So then you start getting a feel for this is how long it takes me to write a 3 page paper, this is how long it takes me to study for an exam, this is how long it takes to complete a xyz type of assignment and you can use that data to plan and schedule going forward because you'll know what assignments are coming due every week ahead of time.

@@megankwisdom That is so very helpful, wow!!!!!!!! I’ve been trying out systems to manage time blindness and I’m still experimenting! Thank you so so much, I’m literally going to try what you recommended for the rest of this week and probably into next. It makes perfect sense to my brain! Seriously, thank you again for commenting, I recognize that it’s probably second nature to most people but time, in general, is so difficult for me. I appreciate your willingness to help so much!!

@@sydg1111 of course, good luck. And if that doesn't work for you that's ok, just keep trying things till you figure it out, that's what I do 😅

When people talk about being in the one percent, I believe they mean in the US or at least in the western developed world.

Your videos are seriously nudging me forward this year. I would also recommend “The War of Art” and The 12 Week Year” as some great reading for your audience working on their personal process development.

Hi sweetie your hair looks great, just looked at your Instagram by chance after a friend sent me an astrological link, I don't use Instagram though I do have an account still seemingly. Anyway your kinda hard to get hold of, your website can't find the menu, saw an agenda/ planning diary for 2024 and some articles but couldn't access those. I only came across you this morning, can't commend you enough not only for your body of content but also on your presentation of your work. Also this later video excellent timely totally on point... You merit a far far greater audience, and how can I comunícate with you in private, please don't say Instagram.

Hmm, maybe remove that WAR IS right above you head. It's like a man with long hair or a unibrow. Kinda messy and unconsciously offensive to the majority. Source: Brian Tracy, but not sure where he got it from since he himself said he took ideas from everyone in the self-help industry and put them together.
