Thank you for the video! For the obsidian block you can actually grapple to it, if you have the improved grappling hook which I'm sure everyone does by the time they reach the mountains. You pass by the spot at 4:12 in the video. Bypasses the parkouring, so you can just climb up.

for the obsidian block theres a grapple on the second floor with all the chains you glide from where the gate is back towards it and grapple up to it and then climb the wall.

Quick note about Conifer...just chop down enough trees to get 20 or so logs and then take them back to your farming base and turn those into saplings. Plant a little forest and you will have all the conifer logs you ever need. Farming them in the wild is horribly inefficient.

Another tip to maximize fertilisied soil needed for seedlings, is to place a cube of it then rake out a large area from that. Then dig it all back up. 1 piece turns into like 20 or more depending how big an area you make.

Got sick of making all that silver for the Obsidian blocks, so I just put a base 40m out from the chest (so the chest was just outside the base perimeter) and mounted a grapple hook just above it. Just keep repeating. Grapple. loot, relog, grapple, loot, and eventually had 100k blocks to repave my bigger base.
